Joe's Crab Shack

We did a weekend getaway to unwind, this was very close to our hotel so after a night walk by the pier we decided to dine here. Joe’s never disappoint! It’s our second time visiting this location and every time we come it’s packed! The servers are very kind, accommodating and despite having so much tables to attend they always seem attentive. We ordered the boil with Cajun seasoning, the dip with crab and shrimp and some drinks! The strawberry margarita was amazing! The sea food is so fresh! Not kidding, it’s as if they take it directly from the ocean and put it in the pot! Cooked to perfection! Sauce is always on point! So tasty, savor and there’s this little spicy kick to it which I love. My spice tolerance is very high so you should choose the level of heat you can tolerate. They bring the food steaming to your table which makes it so much better! I can’t recommend a time or a specific day and hour because every time we’ve visited it’s packed! And that’s only because it’s so good! I recommend this place hands down whenever you’re visiting Daytona! You’ll absolutely love it!

We went to this restaurant several times in January 2025 for dinner or just a beer in the outdoor area. The service is friendly, the prices are reasonable. You have a beautiful view of the sea and the beach. In the outdoor area you have the opportunity to sit in the sun for a long time in the late afternoon. Unfortunately, this is not possible everywhere as the beach has otherwise been built up with the hotels. We'd love to come back.

We had drinks outside on the lower deck, no food (menu’s a little pricey but the experience would make it worth it for us if half decent). What an exceptional experience! Music was great, not too loud (the music on the roof top was obnoxiously loud which is why we decided to be seated on the lower deck). Our server Skyler was so sweet & attentive. We just loved her. The manager stopped by to ask how everything was & we had a great conversation about the special events Joe’s does, especially for New Year’s Eve. This place is a gem! Bring them your business & check out the sunset from their decks. You will not be disappointed! Edit: We loved our visit at Joe’s so much we decided to order food & more drinks after writing our review. We ordered the Fried Shrimp/Fish Entree. It came out quickly, piping hot, perfectly cooked & delicious. Loved the Pineapple Chutney for dipping! We’ll be back!

This restaurant is impossible to miss during a visit to the Daytona Beach boardwalk. It's right on the pier, with great views of the surrounding beaches and the Atlantic ocean. I wasn't planning for a big meal, so we just ordered two dishes to share. Xavier, our server, did an excellent job serving us and keeping us hydrated. We ordered clam chowder to start, but unfortunately we found it to be substandard. It is choked full of potatoes instead of clams, which was a disappointing ratio in my opinion. The sailors shrimp platter, however, did not disappoint. The shrimps came in three ways, fried, blackened, and tempura battered. I found the first two to be great, while the tempura battered shrimps were a bit bland for my taste. With fries and rice on the side, the platter had enough food to share among the three of us to be considered a light lunch. And the views of the ocean were a welcome touch.

Walk out past the water and find a treasure!!! We are a party of 6. 1st time here. It’s bike week March 2025. Interesting feature: Ordering a shark drink gets a scream from all the waitresses!!! Seating and ordering was seamless. Music is a little loud. Skyler is our server, she is awesome!!! Clean bathrooms
