About Jing 5

Jing 5 is a Chinese restaurant located at 9354 Bellaire Blvd #4504, Houston, TX 77036, USA, situated in the Bellaire Chinatown area. This small eatery, with approximately 5 or 6 tables, offers a distinct culinary experience for those looking to explore unique Chinese flavors.

A notable feature of Jing 5 is its selection of chicken, duck, and pork offal, which customers can purchase by the pound. This allows for a mix-and-match approach to trying different items. After selecting their preferred protein options, customers can choose to have them mixed with either a mild spicy or hot spicy seasoning sauce, catering to different spice preferences.

In addition to these customizable options, Jing 5 also offers a variety of pre-packaged items that are available for takeaway, providing convenience for those on the go. The menu also includes noodles and other standard Chinese restaurant items, offering a broader range of choices beyond their specialty offal dishes.

Based on customer reviews, Jing 5 is described as a "delightful find" for those interested in trying these specific types of dishes. Another reviewer, identifying it as a "Wuhan eatery," highlighted the marinated beef shank and duck neck as being good and expressed interest in trying more of their offerings. An update from the same reviewer noted that while the "re gan mian" (hot dry noodles) was just okay, they enjoyed the duck necks, pork feet, and vegetables.

If you are in the Bellaire Chinatown area and are interested in exploring a Chinese restaurant that offers a unique selection of marinated meats, cold appetizers, and particularly chicken, duck, or pork offal with customizable spice levels, Jing 5 is presented as a place worth visiting. Their takeaway options also provide flexibility for enjoying their food elsewhere. You can contact them at (713) 574-2486 or +1 713-574-2486 for more information.

Jing 5 was quite a delightful find for us. If you're interested in trying delicious chicken, duck, or pork offal, then this is the place to stop by and give it a try. You can purchase a mix and match of various items, which are sold by the pound. After selecting the protein options, the server will mix them with the seasoning sauces – either mild spicy or hot spicy. They also offer a variety of pre-packaged items for takeaway. They also offer noodles and other menu items. It is a small restaurant with maybe about 5 or 6 tables. We will visit there again when we explore the Bellaire Chinatown area.

Wuhan eatery that has a variety of marinated meats and cold appetizers. Tried beef shank and duck neck. Both were good. Will come by to try more. Update: re gan mian is only okay. Like the duck necks, pork feet, and vegetables.

My girl is from Wuhan and she really wanted something that was similar to a home cooked meal and this place didn't disappoint. The food here is Hubei style and was really delicious. We drove in from Dallas just to come here to eat. But just an fyi, this is more street style food. Definitely recommend coming here.

Duck necks (鸭脖) is a must buy every time when I come to the China Town. Authentic flavor of Hubei Cuisine. Their Hot-Dry noddles (热干面) is great, haven’t had more authentic than this restaurant, snack-sized bowl, great for afternoon snack.

Best Wuhan food period. I have been to lots of places tryin all Wuhanese and Hubei restaurants including those in Cupertino and LA. No one beats this. I talked to the staff, apparently they customized their noodle from the supplier, which is the key to the authenticity. Their Hot Dry Noodle is what you will get in Wuhan. And their side dishes such as the vegetables and ducks’ neck was on point. Definitely worth every penny. Highly recommended for all 武汉人.
