About Jin Jin

Jin Jin is a Chinese restaurant located at 715 E McGregor St in Pageland, South Carolina (SC 29728). As a Chinese restaurant, Jin Jin aims to provide a selection of Asian dishes to the local community. They can be contacted at phone number (843) 672-3867 or mobile phone number +1 843-672-3867 for placing orders or inquiries.

Based on the available online reviews, customer experiences at Jin Jin present a somewhat divided perspective. One long-term customer expressed significant satisfaction with the restaurant, stating that they love the food, regardless of what they order, and find everything to be delicious. This reviewer also highlighted the super friendly service, which they consider very important. They have been eating at Jin Jin for several years and have never had a complaint or received the wrong order. Furthermore, they praised the generous portion sizes, often being able to eat from a single order twice, with even some leftovers for a late-night snack. This highly satisfied customer strongly recommends Jin Jin to anyone seeking a good Asian dish, expressing gratitude for the great food, excellent service, and friendly, smiling staff.

In contrast, another customer who ordered takeout beef and broccoli had a less favorable experience. They found the fried rice to be "subpar at best" and quite bland, requiring the addition of seasonings and margarine to make it palatable. While they described the beef as chewy, they considered the flavor of the beef and broccoli dish to be on par with a common "Chinese" dish, ultimately finding it very average and bordering on "insipid." This reviewer concluded that if someone is looking for Chinese cuisine in the absence of other options, Jin Jin would "fit the bill," implying it serves a basic need rather than offering exceptional quality.

These contrasting reviews suggest that while some customers have had consistently positive experiences with Jin Jin, particularly regarding the overall taste of various dishes, the friendliness of the service, and the generous portion sizes, others have found certain dishes, like the fried rice, to be lacking in flavor and the overall quality to be merely average. The discrepancy in feedback could be attributed to variations in individual preferences, specific dishes ordered, or changes in food preparation over time.

As a Chinese restaurant, Jin Jin likely offers a range of popular dishes, including various stir-fried meats (like beef and broccoli, as mentioned in one review), chicken dishes, seafood options, and vegetarian choices. They would also typically serve different types of rice and noodle dishes, as well as appetizers and soups. The positive review mentioning the deliciousness of everything ordered suggests a potentially broad menu with consistent quality across different items, at least for that particular customer. However, the negative review specifically criticizing the blandness of the fried rice indicates that the quality of individual components of a meal might vary.

The services offered by Jin Jin likely include both takeout and dine-in, although this is not explicitly stated in the reviews. The negative review mentions "ate take out," indicating that this service is available. The positive review, while not specifying dine-in or takeout, implies that the customer has frequented the restaurant over several years, suggesting the possibility of a dine-in option as well. Local users would need to confirm with the restaurant whether dine-in service is currently offered.

The environment of Jin Jin is not described in detail in the provided reviews. Takeout-focused restaurants typically prioritize efficiency for order pickup, while dine-in areas can vary in ambiance from casual and functional to more decorated and thematic. The positive mention of "friendly smiling faces" of the staff suggests a welcoming atmosphere for customers, regardless of whether they are dining in or picking up an order.

Features of Jin Jin that can be inferred from the reviews include generally delicious food (according to one reviewer), super friendly service, accurate order fulfillment, and generous portion sizes. However, a potential drawback highlighted by another customer is the blandness of certain items like the fried rice and the overall average quality of some common dishes. The long-term satisfaction of one reviewer suggests consistency in some aspects of their offerings over the years.

Promotional information is not provided in the given reviews. To attract more local users, Jin Jin could consider highlighting their popular dishes based on positive customer feedback. They might also want to address the concerns raised in the negative review by focusing on the flavor profile and quality of their rice dishes. Promoting their friendly service and generous portions could also be effective in drawing in new customers. Offering lunch specials or family meal deals could be additional ways to attract and retain business.

For local users in Pageland, SC, seeking a Chinese restaurant, Jin Jin presents a somewhat mixed profile based on the available feedback. While one long-term customer has consistently enjoyed the food, service, and portion sizes, another found a specific dish to be bland and the overall quality average. Potential customers might want to consider these differing experiences and perhaps try a variety of dishes to form their own opinion. The friendly service seems to be a consistent positive aspect mentioned by at least one reviewer.

In conclusion, Jin Jin at 715 E McGregor St, Pageland, SC, is a Chinese restaurant that has garnered both strong praise for its delicious food, friendly service, and generous portions, as well as criticism for the blandness of at least one dish and an overall average quality in another. Local users may find it worthwhile to try Jin Jin, keeping in mind the varied experiences reported by other customers.

I love the food here, no matter what I order everything is delicious. Everyone is super friendly and that means a lot to me. I've been eating here for several years and have never had a complaint and have never been given the wrong order. The amount I get in my orders I can eat twice n sometimes still have a lil midnight snack for later. I highly recommend jinjin to anyone looking for a good Asian dish. Thank you JinJin for great food great service and friendly smiling faces.

Ate take out beef and broccoli. The fried rice is subpar at best and quite bland. It took some seasonings and a bit of margarine to get it palatable. The beef was chewy and the flavor was on par for this common "Chinese" dish. There is honestly nothing to write home about, very average teetering on insipid. If you are looking for Chinese cuisine and cannot find anywhere else, this will fit the bill.

The prices have all increased so much it is not worth ordering anything from the menu. I ordered Manchurian steak. The price was 15 I got about 10 pieces of steak and about a pound of onions and bell pepper. This is not an upscale Chinese restaurant like Wanfu in pineville they have overpriced everything on the menu. They are now charging $4 for egg drop soup. So from now on i will not be eating from Jin Jin.

This place completely ruined my food I ordered hot honey chicken wings they gave me these balls of foam with something that looked like canned anything meat it was scary I wanted to throw the whole meal that I didn’t order on their floor and on top of that they charged $50 for it I was going to cancel the whole order when I heard the price, but won against my better judgment and gave this place a try. This place was disgusting taste worthy, and this satisfying as far as the quality of the food and also over priced I would not go here again, if I was homeless.
