About Jin Huang (King's Kitchen)

Jin Huang, also known as King's Kitchen, is a Chinese Restaurant located at 409 8th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104, USA. You can contact them at (206) 485-7287 or their mobile number +1 206-485-7287.

This low-key establishment specializes in Cantonese cuisine, offering a variety of dishes such as noodles, congee, rice rolls, and rice plates. They are also known for their Cantonese BBQ meats, including options like duck, soy sauce chicken, and roast pork.

Customers have generally found the food to be very tasty. While some items, like the small coconut chicken soup priced at $16, were considered not particularly worth the cost, other dishes have been highly enjoyed. The pepper salt squid and red wine beef were specifically mentioned as favorites.

Jin Huang is attached to Diamond Bay, which provides a unique feature: customers at Jin Huang are allowed to order a few dim sum dishes from Diamond Bay. However, it's advised not to overdo it with dim sum orders to avoid potentially needing to wait for a table at Diamond Bay itself.

The service at Jin Huang is described as friendly and less rushed compared to the adjacent Diamond Bay. The seating situation might not be ideal for larger groups of around seven people, with smaller groups likely to find it more comfortable.

If you are in Seattle's International District and looking for a Cantonese Chinese Restaurant offering a diverse menu of noodles, congee, rice dishes, and BBQ meats, with the added bonus of being able to order a limited selection of dim sum from next door, Jin Huang (King's Kitchen) could be a good option for you. Be mindful of potential pricing on certain items and the seating comfort for larger parties.

Food was all very tasty. Some are pricy tho - the small coconut chicken soup is $16, not very worth it. We especially enjoyed the pepper salt squid, red wine beef (both not in pic 😂). But everything else was tasty too. We had a big group of 7 people and the seating situation was not very ideal. Smaller group will be more comfortable.

A low key place serving Cantonese noodles, congee, rice rolls, and rice dishes with Cantonese BBQ meats including duck, soy sauce chicken, roast pork. It is attached to Diamond Bay so you are allowed to order a few dim sum dishes… just don’t overdo it, otherwise wait for a table at Diamond Bay. Service seems friendly and less rushed than next door.

Authentic Cantonese Food! I like menu items 1. Pipa duck is very good! 2. Souped Vegetables is good! 3. Clams are very fresh (you can order the steamed egg and clam from the Diamond Bay Menu) 4. Eel Clay Pot is very good! Great service! Restroom is very clean!

Been here twice and we loved their roasted duck and barbecue pork. We tried two more dishes this time: the salted fish, chicken, and eggplant clay pot, and the fried clams. The clay pot was delicious and worth a try! But the clams were not fresh at all and tasted super fishy. I only had two pieces and had to waste most of it. It’s a bit pricey as well.
