Cute, cozy and DELICIOUS!! Very TENDER Mongolian Beef with Onions. Nice amount of spice and the flavor was SAVORY! Preparation was under 10 mins and my plate was great from first to last bite!! A gem in this city! Enjoy friend!

Got the shrimp mei fun. $12 if you paid with cash. It also comes with a cup of soup. Taste pretty good. Service was friendly too.

Pros: Simple food cooked fresh, served hot. Attractive from the outside, some decent seating, not too loud or too cold in the summer. Cons: I know it's difficult and expensive to run a small business in NYC, but over $23 for a plate of rice and chicken is too much. Portions are unhealthily large with few vegetables. Prices seem to be different on the menus inside, outside, and printed. Tip-shaming as usual nowadays, but no actual service. Foam plates and disposable everything: no ambiance, bad for the environment. Flimsy plastic forks worse than on a plane. Suggestion: Offer a smaller serving for a lower price, with a $5 option for a large portion. Include something of value in the tip, such as attractive plates.

This was my first time here yesterday. My friend was coming to move furniture with me in the area and was hungry. On the way to get the car he asked for food options. I brought him through the area because third avenue and Baruch’s campus is full of food options that are on the more affordable side of things. We weren’t looking to spend much money and come to Jimmy’s House and looked at the menu. We figured it would work and ordered some pineapple chicken rice. We then had to leave and weren’t able to eat our food for about two hours. It held up well and didn’t make the car smell at all which is always a plus! The place itself is good for a quick place to grab food and go or eat there with only a few friends as it’s not a place where you are waited on. I do like the food and options they have so I would come back.

Had the best Chinese food here! Jimmy was a great host and recommended the soup dumplings, potstickers, 3 pepper chicken and other sides for lunch. Great quality and authentic flavors- I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in NYC!
