Takeout only because the hotel is being leased for temporary housing. Service was fast and it was only $12 for the lunch special. I got the shredded pork 鱼香肉丝. Pretty tasty
Super delicious! It's a hidden gem with lovely staff, a modern/hip design, and pretty plates. Also, they offer Mapo Tofu without Beef which I was happy about. I'm definitely coming back here, especially for the Pickled Cabbage and Fish Fillet soap. Next time, I'll try the cold cucumber dish ☺️
Jiangnan Chinese cuisine is famous in Flushing NewYork area. One of the best rated restaurant to go to. Food is tasty and the place is clean. This place is always busy. The steam fish and the Peking duck taste good.
Salt and pepper shrimp was terrible. You had to dismantle the whole shrimp with your hands for over priced charges… soup dumplings were ehhh. And over priced. The menu in photos has definitely changed since they merged with the bar downstairs. There was also some CRAZY yelling downstairs in the kitchen for a good 5-10 min. Will probably never come back here tbh. Come here if you’re lonely and want to sit in your sorrow. Music is very come down…?
The place was not very well kept, there were insects flying around, mosquitoes, flies, etc. There was just one waiter and a bartender who were attending to the guests. The service was fairly quick though. The drinks were quite strong, one cocktail hit like me like has 2.. Food was very okayish.. Pan fried pork dumpling was the only thing which tasted normal, served with a bare min presentation. Hot and sour soup was more sour than hot, maybe excess vinegar. And the Hunan style chicken had more cut spice than chicken and was dry.. my tongue started to feel fuzzy with the kind of spice they used in it.. Overall, I would recommend this place more for cocktails than the Chinese food
