Jiang Nan Flushing Intro

Bringing a refined taste of Chinese cuisine to local users in Singapore, Jiang Nan Flushing originates from 133-42 39th Ave STE 101, Flushing, NY 11354, USA. We aim to offer an authentic dining experience characterized by delicate and balanced flavors.

Jiang Nan Flushing is noted for providing authentic Chinese flavors. However, it's important to be aware that it is considered a pricier option, with individual dishes often costing over $20-$30 USD. Because of this, one reviewer recommended visiting as a group to share various dishes, potentially making the experience more economical.

Several dishes have received specific mention. The Peking Duck is highly recommended, although one reviewer noted it might be a bit fattier compared to what is typically found in Beijing. Another standout dish is the sliced Pork Belly with Mashed Garlic, which was particularly loved by one customer. The jellyfish dish is also mentioned for being uniquely crunchy compared to versions offered at other restaurants.

While the portion sizes are described as okay, it's noted that dining at Jiang Nan Flushing might be more expensive than similar meals at other Chinese restaurants in the Flushing area (in the US). However, the emphasis seems to be on the quality and authenticity of the flavors and a refined dining experience.

Overall, customer feedback suggests that Jiang Nan Flushing offers good, authentic Chinese cuisine with some particularly noteworthy dishes. The dining experience is described as refined yet approachable. However, potential diners in Singapore should be aware of the higher price point and might consider dining in a group to sample a wider variety of dishes while managing costs.

Authentic flavors however four stars for being very pricey. Recommend to go as a group to split various dishes. Each dish is easily over 20-30 each. Recommend the Peking Duck. The jellyfish also was much different than other restaurants. Extra crunchy. Portion size is ok but does stand out among other Chinese restaurants in flushing where one can have similar meal for cheaper.

Jiang Nan offers a refined yet approachable dining experience with delicate and balanced flavors. I especially loved the sliced Pork Belly with Mashed Garlic. The Peking Duck was also great, though a bit fattier than what you'd find in Beijing. The Shrimp with Dragon Well Tea was just okay—it lacked tea flavor and tasted mostly like boiled baby shrimp. Overall, everything was good.

The food, the service, and the atmosphere here are all great. We went a lil after opening and so we were able to grab seats easily. The food was ordered using a tablet so it was easy to scroll through the menu and see the pictures. Food came out fairly quickly. The price is a bit on the high end but you're also paying for the ambiance and the setting. Had a wonderful lunch with friends and will certainly be back in the future. Must get the peking duck. So good!

The Beijing duck is simply phenomenal—i would say my to-go in NYC. Every bite was perfectly crisp and flavorful. The Yan Du Xian was also exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it perfect for both casual meals and special occasions.

I recently visited Jiangnan to try their new menu, and it was absolutely amazing! Every dish showcased the essence of Jiangnan cuisine with a touch of creativity: • Deep Fried Crispy River Shrimp: Perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The shrimp was fresh and flavorful without being greasy. • Stir-Fried Sliced Beef with Green Pepper: The beef was tender and juicy, with a wonderful aroma from the green pepper. A perfect dish to pair with rice. • Stir-Fried Black Fish Fillet with Garlic: The fish fillet was silky and infused with a rich garlic aroma—every bite was pure joy. • Sauteed Crab Meat: The crab meat was delicate, sweet, and bursting with freshness, reminding me of the authentic flavors of Jiangnan. The desserts were equally delightful: • Deep Fried Carrot Stuffed with Egg Yolk: Adorably shaped, with a creamy salted egg yolk filling that was simply irresistible. • QQ Glutinous Mini Pumpkin: Soft, chewy, and mildly sweet—a perfect way to end the meal. The restaurant has a clean and elegant atmosphere, and the service was warm and attentive. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Jiangnan flavors—you won’t be disappointed!
