Inconsistent with the food taste. Sometimes very bad and sometimes good. Their Curry chicken with rice and Fried rice are good. They don't accept some kinds of credit card, they accept only visa cards. Quick serving.

Called and asked if they could sub white meat for sesame chx was told they were out if white meat then I asked if sweet and sour chx came with dark meat then. Lady had to ask chef again. After waiting 5 minutes on hold I hang up. She calls back and says they can do white meat on ss chx so I asked if they were out and she said no they just won’t substitute so I asked why she would say she was out when they weren’t in the first place? She said you want to order or not. Very rude and will lie to you so I won’t ever buy from here based on pure lack of service. Okay you don’t sub no problem. Why take 5 minutes and lie about it???? Makes you wonder if they’re so blatantly capable of misleading customers what else they’re hiding??? No thanks.

I ordered the Mongolian Beef combination meal. Even though I ate in, I had to order from the front counter and the food was served in to-go packaging. I was left to get my own eating utensils and condiments. They have a VERY small selection of canned or bottled sodas. The first thing I noticed was that the gravy had been overthickened with corn starch/arrow root powder to the point of being gelatinous. In addition, the beef was of a consistency of having been way to tough to start and severely overboiled to tenderize it. Other than these issues, the depth and quality of flavor easily overcame the previously mentioned shortcomings. The amount of heat was perfect. Sadly though, no fortune cookies are included in the meal. If it hadn't been for the great flavors, I would have rated my visit with three stars instead of four. It is also the reason that I would go back and try other menu items. Next time I will avoid the beef and order chicken.

A great dinner option for consistently good, quick Chinese food on the Westside. The pickup order is always ready in 15 or less. And the family that owns Jia Yuan are nice. I never see anyone eating inside. The prices are cheap and the food is great!

I've been going here since I was a child and will continue to do so. This has been a family owned business for many years. It's not the best for sit down dining due to the smaller space, but the takeout has always been fabulous! I especially like the beef and broccoli. The portions are generous for the price and I usually get two meals out of one.
