We walked by and it smelled divine. I ordered an assortment of hot and cold items for the table, including the tangy wood ear mushrooms, the savory Dan Dan noodles, the pork pepper, and some Ma Po tofu. Everything was delicious. We also did the dumplings of the day in the pan fried style as suggested by our server. They were crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was a mix of pork and shrimp. There was a side of vinegar on the plate. I wish there was vinegar at the table and maybe some chili oil, but overall very tasty. The selection of drinks was pretty good and each cocktail was thoughtfully made. The restaurant was cozy and nicely decorated. It would be a cute date spot especially when you are craving Szechuan. They warned us that things were spicy but I didn’t find anything overly spicy. 🌶️ A huge benefit is that we didn’t have to wait long to be seated on a Friday night and parking was easy. After we left we were able to easily walk to dessert and drinks at the surrounding stalls.

Spontaneously stopped in to grab lunch. Malique (Bartender) was absolute amazing! His customer service was unbelievable. The drinks were perfect! I had a Peach Martini. The food was fresh and hot! I will definitely be back in the near future.

Have been here multiple times and always enjoyed the food I've gotten. Dry fried eggplant is a must, three pepper chicken is great (not pictured), and the dan Dan noodles were flavorful.

The service was ok. Although it wasn't crowded it a while to get seated. The waitress was accomodating mostly; however she didn't ask if I wanted more water although she stopped at my table several times. Food was mediocre and not seasoned well

Jia Szechuan Food and Bar, located on the ground floor of Ponce City Market, is a fantastic dining option. The food and drinks are delicious, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We were in a rush, and they managed to serve us promptly without compromising on quality. I particularly enjoyed the fried fish and mapo tofu—both were exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great Szechuan cuisine in a vibrant setting.
