JBBQ Hot Pot & BBQ

I spent my Birthday here and what an amazing experience. The food and is absolutely amazing and so is the service. Giovanni went above and beyond to make my day special and fun. I recommend the unlimited hot pot and BBQ. Everything is fresh and the ready to eat appetizers are very good as well. Totally worth every penny. Especially good for large groups. Keep in mind it can be a bit confusing at first but the staff will help you out with that part once you get the hang of it you’ll be coming back. I will be coming back!

What a great experience, we went during lunch and for the price of like twenty bucks it was well worth it. Fresh meat and veggies and the hotpot and bbq grill was so much fun. Giovanni our server was amazing and I can’t say enough about how great he was! He was so personable and explained the menu patiently and efficiently. The other staff was so quick in bringing out everything l, we will definitely go back. Make sure you tip good they work hard here and even help you grill your items.

We happened to stumble across this place and had the most delicious dinner! From the food to the cozy atmosphere, and excellent service everything was perfect for a chill evening. Our server, Jessy, was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. He made sure we had everything we needed and kept the experience smooth and fun. This was our first time having Korean BBQ so his insight was very helpful! The food was amazing! The marinated meats were packed with flavor, and the side dishes were fresh and delicious. Grilling at the table added a personal and comforting touch to the meal. If you’re looking for fantastic Korean BBQ with top-notch service, this is the place to go. Oh em GOODNESS! Where do I begin? Service really makes the place, this is the best waiter I think I’ve ever had! I came with a couple of friends and had an AMAZING time. I am not too sure the name of our waiter but he seems popular already, he really has charisma! The food was wonderful, even as my first time in hotpot. If you’re looking for a great time, I definitely recommend here. This is truly a great experience. I loved the complementary ice cream as well. Thank you to our waiter, it’s been a while since I’ve felt like I was serviced good. The other waiters and workers were really nice too. Loved it! I don’t remember our servers name but I hope he remembers us, so he knows how happy we were! 🥰🙏🙏🙏

First off, what a Great place to "MEAT UP" with friends☝️😎 That is pretty much the main theme of the restaurant. You and perhaps 7 other guests order different grilling meats that are wheeled out to you on a table. Nicely organized in small bowls, and those bowls can mean just about anything on their menu. Then you the patron(s) at the table Grill up the different meats that you ordered picking off cooked pieces dipping them into their signature 3 different dipping sauces.  Ponzu sauce, Sweet soy sauce, and a Spicy chili paste. Note: I actually did not indulge in any of their delicious exotic drink specials. I gave JBBQ HOT POT & BBQ only 4 starts because for me it was just ok. One has to be into fried (grilled) meats in the first place. I come from a Thailand Food palet background and next to this food and their 3 dipping sauces it was just bland. The boiled pot of whatever you can throw in there equally didn't have any taste, so I may recommend bringing your own condiments from home including fish sauce and white vinegar that I like to bring, to name a few. It may help with the experience. Desert was just a small cup of vanilla or raspberry ice cream. I didn't see the so called 5 flavors while I was there. *Bathroom: only one toilet in the men's room and ladies room. You'll be waiting a while. *Tables can accommodate up to 8 people at a time as a group or 4 per table if needed. It was only my wife and I. Judging from bill for just 2 people and no alcoholic drinks we spent $87.96 for everything. Imagine that times 4 or 8 people? You do the math.🤣 *Parking is in the rear of the restaurant so enter from Third Avenue. Check the signs it is metered. I would have to say that although the taste of the food was bland for me, it was comfortable and interesting to experience this way of eating🫵😉 The Review Guru* Long Island NY
