About Jasmine Garden
Welcome to Jasmine Garden, a Chinese restaurant located at 1425 Cipriani Loop in the town of Monument, Colorado (zip code 80132). As a family-owned establishment within the Chinese restaurant category, Jasmine Garden aims to provide a local dining option for residents and travelers in the Monument area. You can contact Jasmine Garden to place orders or for inquiries by calling them at (719) 481-0769 or their mobile number +1 719-481-0769.
Based on the available customer reviews, Jasmine Garden presents a somewhat polarized experience for its patrons. Several reviewers express high levels of satisfaction, praising the restaurant as an "excellent Chinese restaurant," especially for a smaller town like Monument. One reviewer even suggests that it's worth a detour for those driving down I-25, indicating a belief in the exceptional quality of their food. Another customer, who claims to have visited many Chinese restaurants, places Jasmine Garden "on the top of my list of places that I have enjoyed eating recently!"
These positive reviews frequently highlight the fact that Jasmine Garden is a "small family owned Chinese restaurant with a family that truly takes care of you." This suggests a personal touch in the service and a welcoming atmosphere. Furthermore, the meals are described as being a "great value with large portions," appealing to customers looking for both quality and quantity at a reasonable price. One reviewer explicitly states, "This is a definite must stop," based on a positive experience during a large lunch where they were treated "so graciously." This customer concluded that "The food, the service was great!" and offered a strong recommendation.
However, a contrasting and serious negative review presents a significant concern. This reviewer states that if they could give zero stars, they would, indicating a highly unsatisfactory experience. Their primary complaint revolves around a dish labeled "Chef Special - Beef Pan Fried Noodle." The reviewer, who is personally allergic to pork, reported that both their boyfriend and son tasted the dish and believed it tasted and looked like pork, contrary to the owners' claim of it being beef. This is a severe issue, especially for individuals with allergies.
Following this discovery, the reviewer contacted the restaurant "very politely" to explain the issue. The owner's response was that a refund would only be issued if the "whole dish" was brought back for inspection. The reviewer clarified that they were only seeking a refund for this one problematic dish. They expressed frustration with this policy, especially considering that the rest of their order was rated as "low-medium at best," typical of quick takeout Chinese food. The requirement to physically drive back the dish for inspection was deemed not worth the time or money for a single dish refund.
This negative reviewer, who is not typically inclined to leave reviews, felt compelled to share this experience due to the combination of the potentially mislabeled food (especially concerning for allergy reasons) and the perceived "horrible customer service" regarding the refund process. The reviewer's concluding statement, "Chef Special - Beef Pan Fried Noodle" in the trash and never again will I order from Jasmine Garden!" strongly indicates a complete loss of trust and a decision to avoid the restaurant in the future.
Considering these divergent opinions, Jasmine Garden appears to be a restaurant that has provided positive experiences for some customers, characterized by good food, large portions, great value, and friendly, family-oriented service. The positive reviews suggest a potentially hidden gem in Monument, Colorado, possibly even worth a detour for travelers.
However, the serious allegation of a mislabeled dish, particularly one that could pose a health risk to someone with a pork allergy, coupled with the negative experience regarding customer service and the refund process, raises significant concerns. This negative review highlights potential issues with food authenticity or accuracy in labeling, as well as a customer service approach that at least one patron found unreasonable and unaccommodating.
Information regarding the environment of Jasmine Garden is limited to it being a "small family owned Chinese restaurant," which suggests a possibly intimate and casual setting. Details about the decor or ambiance are not provided in the reviews. Similarly, specific services beyond dine-in and takeout (implied by the nature of the reviews) are not mentioned. There is no information available about delivery services or online ordering options.
Promotional information is also absent from the provided customer feedback. Local users interested in potential specials or discounts at Jasmine Garden would need to contact the restaurant directly.
In conclusion, Jasmine Garden in Monument, CO, presents a complex picture. While some customers rave about the excellent food, great value, large portions, and gracious family service, a significant concern has been raised regarding a potentially mislabeled dish and unsatisfactory customer service in resolving the issue. Local users considering Jasmine Garden should weigh these contrasting experiences. If food quality and value are primary concerns, and the positive reviews are indicative of a consistent standard, it might be worth a try. However, the serious nature of the negative review, particularly concerning food labeling and allergy risks, should also be taken into careful consideration.

Customer Reviews
If you are looking for an excellent Chinese restaurant, especially in a small town like Monument, Colorado, this should be your one and only choice! I might even say that if you were driving down I 25 and you were considering visiting this place, go ahead and do it you will not regret your choice! I have visited many Chinese restaurants, most of them are not worth leaving a review, however, this one is definitely on the top of my list of places that I have enjoyed eating recently! It is a small family owned Chinese restaurant with a family that truly takes care of you. The meals are a great value with large portions. This is a definite must stop. I had a large lunch that I attended here and they treated us so graciously, that I decided I must write a review. The food, the service was great! You will thank me !
If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered their "Chef Special - Beef Pan Fried Noodle" and in no way is that Beef as the owners claim. I had my boyfriend and son try it and they both said it tasted and looked like pork. I am personally allergic to pork which was the bigger concern. After calling the restaurant very politely and explaining the issue, the owner told me I'd have to bring the whole dish back in order to receive a refund so they could inspect it. To be clear, I wasn't requesting a refund on anything else in our order, only this one dish. Not only was the rest of the food rated to a low-medium at best but what you would expect from a quick take-out Chinese, my biggest issue was the horrible customer service to have to demand a person to then physically drive a dish back so they can inspect it before they would issue a refund?! For one dish, that's definitely not worth the time or money. I'm not a person to leave reviews on a place, but this situation felt worth sharing to others... "Chef Special - Beef Pan Fried Noodle" in the trash and never again will I order from Jasmine Garden!
What a breath of fresh air! This is one of those gems only the locals know about. Amazing food, with an extensive menu. My daughter and I had a pot of Jasmine tea, so delicious. Large portions, we both took a box home. They had a ton of take-out orders picked up while we were there!! Try it!!!
Positive. Place was clean. Server was gnarly. Food was not good when compared to may other similar restaurants. Soup was barely warm. Sweet sauce was pretty weird. The “green curry” was the worst I have had. Go for it to decide for yourself. I did not get sick.
Got the vegetable tofu soup. Broth was OK but the tofu was just uncooked chunks. The vegetable egg rolls were pretty good. But the service was not really service. The two waitresses were both inattentive and rude. I have been here before and had better food and better service. But in all honesty, I did not come here for years, and that was because of about the rudest waitress I have ever had. But some friends convinced me to come back and join them and give it another shot. I did and I had two good experiences. But today was once again terrible service and this time the food wasn't even that good.
