About Jasmine Chinese Food To Go
Located at 14393 STE G, part of 14393 Washington Ave in San Leandro, CA, Jasmine Chinese Food To Go operates within the Chinese Restaurant category, primarily focusing on providing takeout services to local users. Based on the limited customer reviews available online, there appear to be contrasting experiences regarding the food quality and preparation at this establishment. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of what local users can expect, based solely on the feedback provided.
One customer reported a significantly negative experience with several dishes. Their order of Chicken Chow Mein was described as lacking chicken and having a pale appearance. Similarly, the Fried Rice was criticized for not resembling fried rice, being pale in color and devoid of vegetables or other typical ingredients. The reviewer initially mistook it for brown rice, highlighting the stark difference from expected fried rice. This negative feedback suggests potential inconsistencies in the preparation and quality of some of Jasmine Chinese Food To Go's offerings. The reviewer speculated that the cook might have been having an off day, indicating that this might not be the standard quality, but it nonetheless represents a recent customer's experience.
In contrast, another customer reported a positive experience, particularly regarding the value and quantity of the food. They mentioned purchasing noodles and beef, orange chicken, and pork sweet & sour for a total of $13, which they received in a "big plate." This reviewer described the food as "really good," suggesting that Jasmine Chinese Food To Go is capable of providing satisfying and flavorful meals, at least in some instances. The mention of a "big plate" for a relatively low price point indicates that the restaurant might offer generous portions, which could be a significant draw for budget-conscious local users.
Given the limited and contradictory nature of these two reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive picture of the typical environment and services at Jasmine Chinese Food To Go. The name itself, "Food To Go," strongly suggests that the primary service offered is takeout. The address being a suite within a larger address might indicate a smaller establishment focused solely on food preparation for off-site consumption, with possibly limited or no dine-in facilities. However, this is speculative and not explicitly stated in the provided information.
The contrasting feedback on food quality is a key point for local users to consider. While one reviewer experienced significant issues with the preparation and ingredients of common dishes like Chicken Chow Mein and Fried Rice, another found their meal to be "really good" and received a large portion for a reasonable price. This discrepancy could be due to various factors, such as inconsistencies in cooking, different menu items having varying levels of quality, or perhaps even changes in the restaurant's operations or staff over time. Without more reviews or information, it is difficult to ascertain which of these experiences is more representative of the typical customer experience at Jasmine Chinese Food To Go.
The positive review does highlight a potential feature of Jasmine Chinese Food To Go: the combination of good food and large portions at an affordable price. For local users prioritizing value and quantity, this could be an appealing aspect. The specific dishes mentioned in the positive review – noodles and beef, orange chicken, and pork sweet & sour – might be worth considering for those looking to try this restaurant, as they were reported to be "really good" by one customer.
On the other hand, the negative review raises concerns about the quality and accuracy of the preparation of standard Chinese takeout dishes like Chicken Chow Mein and Fried Rice. Local users who rely on these classic items might be hesitant to order from Jasmine Chinese Food To Go without further positive reviews or perhaps trying it with lower expectations initially. The pale appearance and missing ingredients described are significant deviations from what one would typically expect from these dishes.
There is no information provided in the reviews regarding any promotional offers or specials that Jasmine Chinese Food To Go might be running. Local users interested in finding out about potential deals or discounts would need to contact the restaurant directly at their phone number: (510) 357-7028 or mobile phone: +1 510-357-7028. It might also be helpful to inquire about the preparation methods or ingredients of specific dishes if there are concerns based on the negative review.
In conclusion, Jasmine Chinese Food To Go in San Leandro appears to be a takeout-focused Chinese restaurant with mixed customer reviews. While one customer praised the good food, large portions, and affordable price of dishes like noodles and beef, orange chicken, and pork sweet & sour, another reported significant issues with the quality and preparation of Chicken Chow Mein and Fried Rice. Local users considering ordering from Jasmine Chinese Food To Go should be aware of these contrasting experiences. The potential for large portions at a reasonable price might be appealing, but the reported inconsistencies in food quality are a factor to consider. It might be prudent to try a smaller order initially or inquire about the preparation of specific dishes before placing a larger order.

Customer Reviews
I saw the reviews too late. Chicken chow mein with no chicken, and it looks pale Af. Fried rice has no fried rice, basically looks pale as well. With no veggies no nothing. I thought it was brown rice or something but its supposed to be fried rice. Maybe the cook was having a bad day because i dont remember it being like this.
I'm buy noodles and beef orange chicken and pork sweet &sour alfor 13 is big plate is my first time and the food is really good
Chicken chowmain its half cooked, no flavor at all , orange chicken taste like the TANG you mix with water , never again .
Absolutely not. DO NOT GET THE *Chicken Chow Mein , the chicken taste like it was stored with used sponges and there is very very few pieces. Food should be made with at least some consideration. I would take it back if I could. The Shrimp Fried Rice was average.
Don’t buy the combo plates they don’t give you what you ordered . I ordered chicken chow mein , they gave me nothing but noodles which was so dry I had to soak it in soy sauce to get flavor. Last time I buy from here
