For the past four years, Jaipore has been our go-to spot for authentic Indian cuisine, whether we’re dining in or ordering out. This family-run gem stands out not only for its warm, elegant atmosphere but also for the consistently fresh, flavorful dishes that keep us coming back twice a month, without fail. Our host, Arun, is always a highlight of our visit. His friendly demeanor and insightful suggestions help broaden our culinary horizons, introducing us to new flavors and combinations we might not have otherwise tried. Some of our tried-and-true favorites include: -Cochin Lamb Chops: These two succulent racks of lamb are perfectly cooked, with a beautiful blend of aromatic spices like coconut, ginger, and curry leaves. It's a dish we keep coming back to for its tender meat and vibrant flavor. -Sabji Saag Malai: A delightful vegetable dish featuring a spinach puree base, this dish includes eggplants, potatoes, and cauliflower. It’s the perfect side to balance out the heat from other spicier dishes. -Chicken Madras: Not on the menu but you can request it! This curry is rich and complex, with the warming flavors of curry leaves and coconut milk. It’s flavorful but not overwhelmingly spicy, making it an excellent choice for anyone who loves a well-rounded dish. -Naan: Jaipore’s naan is consistently excellent, available in a variety of flavors. my recent favorite is the cheese and coconut. - Fried Poori: A fun and delicious treat, these golden, puffy poori are like little balloons of joy, light and crisp with each bite. -Masala Dosa: This giant, crispy lentil pancake stuffed with spiced potatoes is a must-try. It’s hearty and satisfying, offering a savory flavor profile that pairs wonderfully with the chutneys served on the side. Ask for a large one! (just kidding) From the food to the service, everything at Jaipore is simply delightful. If you're craving authentic, flavorful Indian dishes, this family-run restaurant is a treasure that we can’t recommend enough.

The ambience and rating of Jaipore motivated us to try their lunch buffet. To begin - the ambience is great, the staff and service is also great. However the food leaves a lot to be desired. I have only reviewed the vegetarian items, they also had a lot of chicken items in the buffet. The chaat: Pani puri and bhel were there, but had no proper utensils to take the items in. Soup: pea soup was bland and barely warm. Appetizers: pakora and mango cauliflower were good. Main course: veg chettinad, sag paneer, aloo bhindi, langerwali dal, white rice, tomato rice, plain naan. The naan was burnt on the inner side - all the pieces in there serving vessel were burnt (pic attached) - how does a restaurant of this high rating allow this? The rice options were so bland, one would expect at least a biryani or pulao to be one of the options. The veg curries were okay, but nothing great. Desert consisted of strawberry ice cream, kheer and gulab jamun. The ice cream was good. The kheer was weird, it was spicy (had too much cinnamon) and sour. The gulab jamun was spongy - almost like rasgulla (it is not supposed to have a spongy texture) and instead of being perfectly round, it had a spike (almost like drop shape). I do not have pictures but I have never been this disappointed after eating gulab jamun. They also has tea and coffee, however the tea (masala chai) dispenser was already removed when we went to try it (~2:30pm, buffet is open till 3pm). Overall it was a disappointing meal at Jaipore. Not to mention their buffet isn't exactly cheap at ~$30/person.

I used to be invited here many times by my previous employer, some 15-20 years ago, for company celebration occasions. Today was my first opportunity to visit it again on my own. It looked very familiar, if anything, more elegant. The owners are extraordinarily friendly and attentive to customers' requests. The food was exquisite and the service was even better. Highly recommended.

We stuffed ourselves. The food was so good that we couldn't leave any behind. --- And then we did it again on our next visit. --- It's a trend now. --- Try the buffet.
