The Jaeger Haus has delicious, authentic German food. I had the pork schnitzel with spetzele and sauteed spinach and my partner had the same but with chicken schnitzel. Both were delicious. For dessert we had an apple strudel that was out of this world. We also had the German and the local beer sampler which came with 5 beers each to taste. The local beer sampler consisted of IPA beer that I really dislike. These IPA turned out to be equally distasteful to me - but that's just me. I liked 3 out of 5 of the German beers but none tasted like the beer I remembered when I lived in Germany. Again, just my opinion. But the food is incredible. I almost forgot, I had the potato pancake with applesauce and sour cream. I could have made a meal out of it. So good!

Great Taste, felt like the portions were inconsistent, like side with dishes where maybe a half a cup or less. Additional side where available and there about a 1 cup serving. The were rushing the service and we had ask or yell to get additional order or refills in. The were only 2 other groups of 5-6 people in restaurant and we told that there backup in kitchen. There were very nice on singing happy birthday but we paid on 3 deserts, either way they were amazing and lush. The potato dumplings on brisket plate were a bit cakey and dry. The pretzel was very tough, although they had amazing imported mustards. I recommend the bratwurst, they house fries were very handmade and very tasty.

This is a beautiful, all wood interior German restaurant. Perfect liters of delicious German beer and expertly prepared German food classics and some modern twists. It’s a great place to visit as a destination. The staff was pleasant and fun. I’m very glad we made time for this place.

We have wanted to try this place for some time and finally got the chance. Sadly, we were disappointed. Having been to Europe I think we had high hopes. Having said that, we have eaten German food in the states and been pleasantly surprised. My favorite dish here was the potato pancake ... ironically the only dish I felt had flavor. When I say food was missing flavor I mean there was not even salt and pepper. We tried a variety of dishes. Feel that the prices are high for what is being offered. Portions were more towards the small side. Presentation was nice. Service was decent. I am glad we tried this place but do not expect to be back. *EDIT* In response to the owner: I was not going to send the food back and have it be remade for the fact that I appreciate the difficulty in securing food these days. But, I shouldn't have to ask for seasoning in my food, it should come with it. I also stated I was happy to experience this establishment just most likely wouldn't return. However, I really would like to point out I never once said I couldn't afford the food I just mentioned it was pricey. I find it very rude that you would assume someone cannot afford your food and if that is the case perhaps you agree it is too expensive for what you provide.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at our first-time visit. The beer menu was great, and available in various sizes. We had the special of the night -- pork sliders on delicious small buns. A side of red cabbage was perfect. Hard to pick a dessert, but opted for delicious cream puffs. Very casual ambiance, great service, owners on site. Hope to be back next time we are in the area.
