About Jade Palace Restaurant

Jade Palace Restaurant, located at 9160 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260, USA, is presented under the platform category of Chinese Restaurant. Customers have shared their experiences regarding their food and services. You can contact them at (480) 391-0607 or +1 480-391-0607.

One customer had a positive experience with their pickup order, noting that the website ordering was easy and their food was ready quickly on a busy Saturday night. They also praised the front staff for being "super organized and friendly," giving 5 stars for the pickup process.

However, this same customer expressed some disappointment with the food itself, finding it "a little on the pricey side." They cited the $6.00 cost for one "much larger than your average" New York Egg Roll as being too expensive. They also mentioned that the protein dishes were $5-$6 more expensive than comparable Chinese restaurants in the area, which they felt added up significantly. While they found the New York Egg Roll and BBQ Pork Fried Rice to be "pretty good," the Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Orange Chicken were described as "good but not great." Due to the pricing and the food not meeting their expectations based on its reputation, they indicated they were unlikely to return, though they acknowledged the menu had other options that might be better.

Another reviewer was particularly disappointed with the Peking Duck, stating it was "not worth 65+ for what they give," noting it didn't come with buns and instead included wonton chips and tortillas in their bag. This customer stated they "won't be back" and suggested it might be a place for "older rich folks who don’t know much about Asian cuisine."

In summary, Jade Palace Restaurant in Scottsdale, AZ, offers an efficient pickup order process with friendly staff. However, customer reviews suggest that the food might be considered pricey compared to other local Chinese restaurants, and the quality of some dishes, such as the Sweet and Sour Chicken, Orange Chicken, and especially the Peking Duck, has not met expectations for some diners. While the New York Egg Roll and BBQ Pork Fried Rice received positive feedback, potential customers should be aware of the reported pricing and varying opinions on food quality.

We've always heard great things about Jade Palace so were really excited to finally try it. I ordered pickup on their website which was very easy and my food was ready in 20 minutes on a busy Saturday night. The girl at the front was super organized and friendly so 5 stars for their pickup order process! Unfortunately we were a little let down by the food. It was a little on the pricey side. $6.00 for one New York Egg Roll, although it's much larger than your average egg roll, is still way too much. The protein dishes are much more expensive than some other nice comparable Chinese restaurants in the area by $5-$6 each dish which definitely adds up. The New York Egg Roll and BBQ Pork Fried Rice were pretty good. The Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Orange Chicken were good but not great. Due to the prices and food not living up to the hype, I don't think we'll be back. But, they do have lots of other options on the menu that may have been better.

Food isn’t bad but the pecking duck should not be worth 65+ for what they give… so disappointing… doesn’t even come with buns, came with wonton chips and tortillas were added to my bag. Won’t be back. Great place for older rich folks who don’t know much about Asian cuisine.

This was our first time. We have our usual Chinese spot and it took a recommendation to get us to try something new. We're happy we did. When we walked in we had a bit of a wait to get our table, but there was a lovely fish tank we got to hang out with. Once seated, our service was impeccable and the food came quickly as we ordered. The drinks were great, especially the lychee martini. The lettuce wraps were a favorite and they way the kids got their sweet and sour chicken was a hit. We also loved that the brown rice was an option and cooked perfectly sticky.

Great restaurant, always consistent. Bartender is great and Leon is the best. I also order take out once a week and there has NEVER been a screw up with everything being perfectly hot and delicious. Dawn
