About Jade Kitchen
Welcome to Jade Kitchen, a Chinese restaurant located at 1025 E Caswell St #10 in Wadesboro, North Carolina (NC 28170), USA. As a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, Jade Kitchen aims to provide a variety of Chinese and American dishes for the community. Based on the available customer review from November 2024, a recent experience involved a substantial order totaling over $75, including mixed vegetables, crab rangoon, chicken lo mein, sesame chicken, white rice, chicken fried rice, fried chicken, fries, and egg rolls. The reviewer noted that the food was generally "hot and fresh" upon arrival.
Regarding the environment of Jade Kitchen, the review provided offers some insight. The customer mentioned that "the atmosphere has a bad smell and box's filled up." This suggests that the physical environment of the restaurant might not be the most appealing, possibly indicating issues with cleanliness or organization within the dining or waiting areas. While this is just one observation, it's a factor that potential customers might want to consider. No other information about the ambiance, décor, or seating arrangements is available from the provided text.
In terms of services, Jade Kitchen appears to primarily focus on takeout, as the detailed review describes a large order that was taken away. The mention of a phone number, (704) 694-7888 or +1 704-694-7888, suggests that phone orders are accepted. While delivery service is not explicitly mentioned in this review, it is a common offering for many Chinese restaurants, so it is possible that Jade Kitchen provides this option as well. Customers interested in delivery should contact the restaurant directly to inquire about their delivery范围, fees, and minimum order requirements. The reviewer also commented on the service provided by a staff member, noting that "the lady was very friendly but a little hard to understand but not once was she rude, she was happy to help and we got it figured out." This indicates a positive and helpful attitude from at least one staff member, despite a potential communication barrier.
The features of Jade Kitchen are reflected in the variety of dishes ordered and reviewed. The reviewer found the "chicken lomaine was the best I have ever tasted," highlighting a potential standout dish. The crab rangoon was also part of the order, though no specific feedback was given on its quality. The sesame chicken, white rice, chicken fried rice, fried chicken, and fries were all noted as being "hot and fresh," suggesting a general competence in preparing these common dishes. However, a significant negative feature was the quality of the "egg rolls," which the reviewer described as tasting "like vomit," leading to all four purchased egg rolls being thrown away. This is a serious concern regarding the quality and flavor of this particular menu item. The reviewer's overall rating suggestion of "three point five stars" rounded up to "4" acknowledges both the positive aspects (freshness, hot food, friendly service, exceptional lo mein) and the significant negative aspect (inedible egg rolls) of their experience.
Regarding promotional information, the provided data does not include any specific ongoing promotions, discounts, or special offers from Jade Kitchen. The review focuses on the food quality, service, and atmosphere experienced during a single order. To stay informed about any potential promotions, such as lunch specials, family meal deals, or discounts, it would be advisable to contact Jade Kitchen directly via phone. Additionally, checking online platforms or local advertising might provide information on any current specials they are offering.
The second piece of information provided is a question: "When did Jades Kitchen in Wadesboro close down?" This question suggests that there might be a perception or rumor within the community that Jade Kitchen is no longer in operation. However, the detailed positive and negative review from November 2024 indicates that the restaurant was indeed open at that time. The current operational status cannot be definitively determined from the provided information alone, but the recent review suggests it was open relatively recently. Local users might want to verify the current operating hours and availability by calling the provided phone number.
In conclusion, Jade Kitchen in Wadesboro, NC, is a Chinese restaurant that offers a variety of dishes, including Chinese-American staples and some American fare like fried chicken and fries. A recent customer experience in November 2024 highlighted that the food was generally hot and fresh, with the chicken lo mein being a standout item. However, a significant issue was reported with the egg rolls, which were deemed inedible. The service was described as friendly, although there was a minor communication challenge. The atmosphere of the restaurant was noted to have a bad smell and clutter. While one recent experience had both positive and negative aspects, the question about the restaurant's closure suggests potential instability or a changing perception within the community. Local users are advised to consider these points and perhaps verify the current operational status and menu offerings directly with Jade Kitchen before placing an order.
For those in Wadesboro, NC, seeking a local Chinese restaurant, Jade Kitchen presents a mixed picture based on the available information. The positive feedback on the freshness of the food and the exceptional chicken lo mein might be appealing. However, the serious concern regarding the egg rolls and the negative comment about the atmosphere should be taken into consideration. Given the question about the restaurant's closure, it would be prudent to confirm their current operating status and perhaps inquire about the preparation of specific dishes before ordering. Weighing the potential for delicious dishes like the lo mein against the reported issues with other items and the environment will be key for local users deciding whether to give Jade Kitchen a try.

Customer Reviews
So I would give this jade kitchen about three point five stars , so I went ahead and round it 24 since they have a lot of bad reviews. Today november 2024 i spent over $75 we bought mixed vegetables, crab rangoon, chicken lomaine, (forgive my spelling) sesame chicken, white rice, chicken fried rice, fried chicken, fries, and egg rolls .. Everything was hot and fresh however the Egg rolls as posted before tasted like vomit, I immediately had to spit it out and I think we purchased 4 of those and all 4 went in the trash.I do not recommend that at all. However , despite all the bad reviews , the food was hot and delicious thr lady was very friendly but a little hard to uunderstand but not once was she rude , she was happy to help and we got it figured out . The atmosphere has a bad smell and box's filled up but I would order again . The lomaine was the best I have ever tasted .. if you look i rate everything I have over 200 reviews Im not gonna lie about it and it's definitely not #2 in Monroe but this place definitely deserves a chance ..
When did Jades Kitchen in Wadesboro close down?
Went here from work and those food are amazing. I would rate it more if I want to.
The chicken wings were the best! Good service. Will come back soon!
STAY AWAY! IF YOU HAVE RESPECT TO YOUR SELF! As you walk in, you will see an owner sitting behind one of greasy tables with full mouth of food and chewing. Next you will learn Chinese to order your dish. Next you go wash your hands and you see super dirty and stinky bathroom, after that you will see a cup of vegetables with uncooked chicken meat all in hot water that I assumed should be called "soup" as I ordered in house most expensive soup. After that you sit at a super dirty table and chairs that never been wiped from its purchased new. Then you look trough dirty window and think "why am I here?" The dish comes with super low quality meat that cant be chewed or be swallowed, then low quality unfresh steamed vegetables on top of rice. Paid $14.00 for bottle of sprite, soup, and dish and regret big that I did! I COULD OF WENT TO DESENT PLACE AND ATE QUALITY FOOD! BY THE WAY HALF OF THINGS ON MENU IS NOT AVAILABLE!
