Jade Grille

Best Mandarine restaurant in Pittsburgh. Every menu is high quality and satisfactory size. I always take leftovers home. That is inevitable unless you go with 3+ hungry guys!!

I wanted to try a different Chinese food in Uptown so I decided to try Jade Grille. I ordered the Beef and Broccoli and my son ordered the General Tsos Chicken. The spices were perfect for the General Tsos Chicken and the chicken was the perfect crispy consistency. The Beef and Broccoli was cooked perfect as well and I loved the flavor of the Beef and Broccoli. The server was super friendly and quick. She was very sweet and knew that we had to eat quickly before my sons basketball game. The restaurant had plenty of seating and I thought it was cool that it used to be a bank and there was a private room within the vault of the old bank.

Best Chinese restaurant in Pittsburgh (to my knowledge). They have authentic dishes that taste great. Service is good. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of tables available. Will be coming back.

Jade Grille was a fantastic shared food experience, our server led us through a boat and their signature Jade Grille Fried Rice, the drinks complemented the meal very well and the atmosphere was so relaxed and inviting we spent the entire time there delighted and happy to have shared it together. A must-try for sushi lovers, it was my first time trying it and I fear I'm spoiled forever.

We were in the area and the 4 of us wanted Chinese food for lunch. We wanted a place that had an authentic Chinese menu and an American Chinese menu. This place came up on our Google search. The restaurant is very clean and modern, we were greeted straightaway and sat down. Our waitress Aislinn provided wonderful service with a smile and helped us with recommendations. She was attentive and took care of us. We ordered the lunch specials and added the dan dan noodles and scallion pancake for apps. Both of these were good. The soups that came with the specials were very good, warm and satisfying. The egg drop soup is GF and so met the need for one in our party. The dishes were all tasty and you get a lot of food that we had to take things home. All in all great place for Chinese food in a nice atmosphere with great service. Knocked off a star though for very high price of hot tea, which was simply a tea bag in hot water in a mug, which costs $5. So for 3 mugs, that is $15. Besides the pricing on the non Lunch Specials, overall good.
