About Jade Garden

Jade Garden is a Chinese restaurant located at 3125 Bees Ferry Rd in Charleston, South Carolina. As a local establishment serving Asian cuisine, Jade Garden offers options for both takeout and dine-in. They can be contacted at (843) 766-0666 or +1 843-766-0666 for orders or inquiries about their menu and services.

Recent customer reviews present contrasting opinions about Jade Garden. One review describes a highly negative experience. The customer stated that they would have rated the place zero stars if possible, citing an incident where they received uncooked pink meat in their "beef & broccoli" dish. Upon returning to the restaurant, they encountered an argumentative staff member with limited English proficiency, which led to a frustrating exchange and ultimately the customer feeling "robbed" of their money. This reviewer also expressed concerns about the restaurant's atmosphere, mentioning observing a child's crib inside the premises and questioning their health and safety rating, alleging a lack of sanitary practices and professionalism.

In stark contrast, another customer described Jade Garden as their "favorite local place for Asian food." This reviewer praised the food as "great," noted good portion sizes and reasonable prices, and highlighted the "super friendly staff." This positive feedback suggests that some customers have had very satisfactory experiences with the food and service at Jade Garden.

Considering these two very different accounts, it is challenging to form a definitive objective assessment of Jade Garden based solely on this limited information. The negative review raises serious concerns about food safety and hygiene, as well as customer service and the overall environment of the restaurant. The mention of uncooked meat is a significant issue that potential customers should be aware of.

On the other hand, the positive review paints a picture of a well-regarded local eatery with tasty food, generous portions, fair pricing, and pleasant staff. This suggests that the experiences at Jade Garden may vary significantly, or that the issues raised in the negative review might be isolated incidents or reflect a particular customer's perspective.

Given the limited information, it is not possible to provide a comprehensive description of the restaurant's environment beyond the one concerning observation in the negative review. The positive review does not offer details about the ambiance or decor. Similarly, information about specific services beyond takeout and dine-in, or any unique features or promotional offers, is not available in the provided text.

For local users in Charleston considering Jade Garden, it would be prudent to weigh these contrasting opinions. The strong negative feedback regarding food safety and customer service should be taken seriously. However, the equally strong positive feedback from another local resident suggests that the restaurant may have its merits for some customers.

Without further information or a larger pool of reviews, it is difficult to ascertain which of these experiences is more representative of the typical customer interaction with Jade Garden. Potential customers might consider ordering less familiar dishes or perhaps visiting during less busy hours to assess the quality and service for themselves. The significant discrepancy in the provided feedback underscores the importance of individual experiences and the potential for variability in restaurant quality and service.

In conclusion, Jade Garden in Charleston, SC, is a Chinese restaurant that has received both highly negative and strongly positive reviews from recent customers. Concerns have been raised regarding food safety, customer service, and the restaurant's environment, while others have praised the food, portion sizes, prices, and staff friendliness. Local users should consider these contrasting viewpoints when deciding whether to patronize Jade Garden.

HORRIBLE !!!! if I could rate this place ZERO STARS I would, my partner decided to try this place and realized it had three star reviews (I SEE WHY ) without my knowledge he went and picked up our food upon opening my "beef & broccoli " I discovered PINK uncooked meat ??? I immediately went to return it and was approached by a clearly incompetent Asian women who was argumentative yet barely spoke comprehensive English we went back and forth about five times before I gave up and just let her rob me of $30.00 not to mention the atmosphere I observed seeing a child's crib in the RESTAURANT, I have so many questions about this place and how they are able to be rated "A" as they don't practice sanitary skills & lack professionalism!

This was our first time trying this place and we will order again. I’d like for the community to support this family-run business. They are trying hard to make it work. The Special Fried rice was good, but not great. The chicken pieces were odd: too soft, fatty and almost translucent. It lacked flavor. However, we also got the cashew chicken and asked to add broccoli. That had great flavor and a good sauce. They only do take out. The “dining room” has become a makeshift area for their young son to play. It has the vibe of the movie “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” I’d like to support them and hope it gets better for them.

What is up with fried rice around here. It’s white rice turned yellow with a broth- not fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken was soggy but my husband liked the teriyaki chicken.
