About Jade Garden chinese restaurant

Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant is a Chinese restaurant located at 2201 Old Lexington Rd #3231 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Serving the local community, they can be contacted at (336) 785-0155 or their mobile number +1 336-785-0155 for inquiries about their menu, services, or to place orders. As a Chinese restaurant in Winston-Salem, Jade Garden likely offers a variety of traditional Chinese dishes for dine-in, takeout, and potentially delivery to cater to different customer preferences.

Recent customer reviews of Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant highlight several aspects of the dining experience, both positive and negative. One reviewer praised the service as "super friendly" and noted a "really quick turnaround" after placing their order. This suggests that the restaurant prioritizes efficiency and customer interaction, ensuring a swift service experience with a welcoming staff. However, this positive feedback was contrasted with disappointment in the flavor and price of the food. The reviewer specifically mentioned ordering lo mein for $17, which they found surprisingly expensive compared to the $6-$9 price range at most other Chinese takeout spots. Despite the high price, the flavor of the lo mein was described as "too bland," leaving the customer regretting their decision to order from Jade Garden. While the dish was noted to be hot, fresh, and loaded with toppings, the lack of flavor was a significant drawback for this reviewer, who ultimately concluded that the food was "not anything special," despite the friendly service.

Another customer offered a more balanced perspective, describing the food as "tasty." They acknowledged that fried food, which they seem to order from Jade Garden, is "obviously unhealthy" but mentioned it as an occasional "guilty pleasure." This suggests that Jade Garden may have some well-prepared fried dishes that customers enjoy as a treat. This reviewer also specifically praised the owner as "so kind" and noted that the portion sizes are "good." This aligns with the previous review's positive comments on service and suggests that the restaurant is managed in a friendly and customer-oriented manner, and that they provide satisfactory amounts of food for the price, at least for some dishes.

Considering these two reviews, Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant appears to excel in customer service, with staff described as super friendly and the owner as kind. They also seem to be efficient in processing orders, offering a quick turnaround. In terms of food, opinions are somewhat divided. While one customer found the lo mein to be bland and overpriced, another found the food to be tasty, particularly the fried items, and appreciated the good portion sizes. This suggests that the quality and flavor profile of different dishes on the menu may vary, or that individual taste preferences play a significant role in the overall satisfaction.

The stark contrast in the experience with the lo mein, priced significantly higher than average but lacking in flavor, is a key point for potential customers to consider. If lo mein is a preferred dish, it might be prudent to inquire about its preparation and flavor profile before ordering. On the other hand, the positive comments about fried food and portion sizes suggest that other menu items might be more satisfying and offer better value. The consistent praise for the friendliness of the service and the kindness of the owner indicates a welcoming atmosphere and a customer-focused approach.

The available information does not provide specific details about the restaurant's environment, such as its decor or ambiance. The services offered are implied to include takeout and potentially delivery, in addition to dine-in, although this is not explicitly stated. The features highlighted by the reviews are the friendly and quick service, the potentially tasty fried food, and the good portion sizes for some dishes. The lo mein's high price and bland flavor, despite being loaded with toppings, is a notable point of concern. There is no promotional information available in the provided feedback.

For local users in Winston-Salem considering Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant, the reviews suggest a restaurant with excellent customer service and efficient order processing. However, the value and flavor of the food may be inconsistent, with at least one customer finding a significant price-to-flavor discrepancy in the lo mein. Those who enjoy fried Chinese food and appreciate good portion sizes might find some satisfying options here. Given the mixed feedback on the lo mein, it might be advisable to explore other dishes on the menu or inquire further about specific items before placing an order. The consistently positive remarks about the staff and owner suggest a pleasant interaction, which can contribute to the overall dining experience even if the food has some shortcomings for certain palates.

In conclusion, Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant in Winston-Salem offers friendly and quick service, with a kind owner. While some customers find the food tasty and the portions good, others have been disappointed by the flavor and price of certain dishes, such as the lo mein. Local users should weigh these factors based on their priorities and preferences when choosing a Chinese restaurant. If excellent service is a top priority, Jade Garden may be a good option, but it might be wise to explore the menu carefully and possibly inquire about the flavor profiles of specific dishes before ordering, especially if price is a significant consideration.

Super friendly service, and really quick turnaround after ordering. But flavor and price wise it was a letdown. $17 for lo mein was shocking, but that’s my fault for just ordering without looking at the menu (lo mein at most Chinese takeout spots is $6-$9). I was hoping the flavor would blow my mind for that price, but sadly it really left me regretting my decision to order from here. Just too bland. Very hot, fresh, and loaded with toppings, but not flavorful at all. I wish I liked it because they are very friendly, but unfortunately it wasn’t anything special.

Tasty food. Obviously fried is unhealthy but every so often I go here for a guilty pleasure. The owner is so kind. The portion is good.

Their food is really good! My first time trying them I was a little skeptical because of the location, but you can't judge a book by its cover. 2 years later, I am still eating here. Excuse the half eaten plate, but the general tso's chicken I got today has the perfect blend of chicken, everything is well cooked and seasoned with perfect portions. My boyfriend got the chicken wings - which also seem to be really popular amongst the regulars.

Honestly the best fake Chinese food in WS. There are very limited authentic Asian, specifically Chinese, options in the area, but sometimes you just crave some fake sweet Sesame chicken or General Tso's. They give good portions and the food tastes exactly what you'd expect. The sesame chicken is crunchy and the sauce is sweet and sticky. The beef and broccoli is covered in a rich sauce and the beef is soft. The sweet and sour chicken has real chicken breast chunks coated in a soft fried batter with a side of red sweet and sour sauce to dip in. The fried rice is a hefty portion fried in a dark soy sauce. The dumplings have a good ratio of meat to a thin dumpling wrapper. The owners are also very friendly. They are always busy, but still manage to get your food out in a good time. Very hardworking people and deserve your patronage! They are only doing takeout right now because of COVID.
