Jackacuda's Seafood & Sushi

Trying new places brought us to Jackacuda's Seafood and Sushi. I was looking for a combination of good high quality sushi and fresh seafood. I got half of what I wanted. The atmosphere was nice and casual with a country vibe. Romeo, our server and also bartender, was nice enough but was too busy and the bar with drinks so we waited a little for orders and requests. The sushi consisted of mostly rolls with very little fresh sushi. As a matter of fact, there was no sushi or sashimi available. However, the apps and seafood plater was excellent with fresh Mahi and shrimps. Also, be aware of what's on your bill. This place automatically adds a 20% gratuity even for a party of two....which would be what I would usually tip (20-25%) but I don't like being forced to. I will likely not come back

We ordered sushi, fish tacos, and a poke bowl. The sushi seemed really fresh and was flavorful. We had the Orange Torch and the Kamala Ka Zee rolls. The Orange Torch was our favorite. The people working here were happy and seemed genuinely kind.

This has been our second time at this establishment. We absolutely love the ambience, food, decor and service. The food is on a whole different level! It’s fresh, flavored well and most of all well put together. We had the calamari for an appetizer! Our family definitely enjoyed it! Our kids ate more of it than we did! Our kids had the Teriyaki Bistro Steak, and the fish and chip. The hubz had the burger and I had sushi- El Fugeo. We truly enjoyed our time here. If you are looking for a place that has different variety in food it’s a must try. The owner is beyond friendly, he speaks with everyone. Our waitress Heather was amazing, truly a sweetheart! She was very thoughtful and pleasant.

Dee was our server she was amazing and so kind to us! She gave very good suggestions on what to eat and helping us dine! My grandma said this was the best shrimp she’s ever had! Definitely go here people were so nice

Sushi was good, not amazing. Service was prompt and seemed willing to help, even as much as offering us a sample of the spicy mayo so we could judge it's hotness. The hot crab dip was nice, not exactly packed with crab and a little on the small side. The sushi was a good size, mine was certainly nicer than the wife's. Had a quick and enjoyable meal, then the oddity of the service charge arrived. They automatically charge 20% on every meal, however the server only gets 15% of that...so what I'm tipping the owner 5% for the convenience of using their establishment? That is not a smart move. Increase your prices by 5% and let the customers decide how good the service is. If this policy changes I'd be happy to go back.
