We absolutely love it here! The food is truly delicious and the staff is so courteous and always willing to give great recommendations. Our favorites by far are the Salt and Pepper Flounder, Pan Fried Noodles with XO Sauce, and Szechuan Green Beans. 10/10 is not a high enough rating—we will be lifelong customers for sure.

JJ Chen’s is one of the best Chinese spots in the milwuakee area! The owner really prides himself in his food. As my sister and I were the only customers at the time in the shop he came and talked to us. Really friendly guy! The food was high quality and extremely tasty! Of all the places I have tried in Chicago I will say JJ Chens is on my list of places for Chinese I wi good to for food. The service was best I have ever seen at any place. The atmosphere made me think about how Chinese restraunts were back in the 90’s. So, I loved it! Definitely give JJ Chen a try!

I feel like I have been punked, especially for the price paid. The food we had delivered was horrible and none of it was edible. The "bao buns" were congealed and brown. The chicken on a stick was cold and meat stringy. The Hunan Style Beef was not spicy as requested, had a ton of carrots, celery, and mushrooms in it (WTF?) which I would have NEVER ordered if I knew it was going to have all of that, the beef itself was chewy. The rice smelled horrible, like it was old or not cleaned/cooked properly. This was my first and my last time ordering from here.

I love JJs for dim sum, but whatever you do, don't order the egg foo young! A pile of grease with zero flavor and no fresh vegetables. The pork was like chewing a tough shoe. Worst I've had anywhere. Maybe a bad night but I had to toss it all and go get a burger. Great family and nice son but allowing him to take a table and watch cartoons loudly on his device in the tiny space was not a pleasant dinning experience. (5pm) they were completely overwhelmed and seemed confused on several delivery orders. It's so sad. Hoping for a rebound and perhaps new cook.
