This is my favourite Japanese restaurant in Utah. Their fish quality is exceptional. We especially love their salmon rosa. We usually order a yaki udon for our kids and a bunch of nigiri (hamachi, salmon belly, ikura, tobiko, and chef special). Absolutely love this place.

This place is a must visit for anyone looking for some delicious sushi. Its become my default whenever I have the craving because of all of the tasty choices. I just came back from an extended visit to Japan recently and this place always makes me feel like I am still there. Garlic edamame for an appetizer instead of my usually Gyoza and let me tell you, that Garlic sauce was AMAZING. I was never really a fan of sashimi and only did signature rolls but J & C changed my mind. I ordered on the Deluxe this time around since it was Valentines weekend with my girlfriend. The mussel shooters that start you off look intimidating if you've never done it but they are delightful to say the least. The magic happened once our sushi came out. The presentation absolutely made our week and my girlfriend was especially happy she had something so pretty to photograph. I don't know how they do it but the fish always tastes so fresh. I am not usually a fan of the snapper family but it did not stand a chance that night. If you go, try one of the Sakes, our waiter helped us pick one and it was the perfect choice for our meal. If you're looking to splurge, Bluefin Toro Rosa. Magical is the word. Thank you for the great evening!

Nice place with good service. The price tag for rolls is reasonable and the rolls are good. The shrimp tempura appetizer is nice and crispy without being oily. The nigiri are expensive if you order nice fish. This is probably the most let down in my opinion. They are good but not quite at the standard of the price—mainly because their rice is a bit dry and bland (I’m being picky here because of the price tag, although if you compare to other sushi restaurant in 10 miles radius, this place is still probably at the top of my list).

The food and service here is amazing! We got the walnut shrimp, the kung po chicken, with a couple sushi rolls and it was all delicious (especially the shrimp). I’d recommended this place to anyone!

Coming back here for a while and it’s absolutely great experience with JC sushi. The sashimi order is very delicious and well decorated. Plus they are having fresh wasibi that I can say it’s the best while not much place have it in their menu. Fresh oyster takes little bit time on prep but it’s so good and over than expected. The service is very fast and the owner remembered me well so that he is very welcome me when I come. Highly recommend this place for Japanese/Chinese food lovers!
