Nice food and decent choice. Loved the food and drinks. We ordered chicken tikka and veggie pakora. Tikka was spiced up really nicely. Loved the food - Garlic naan, onion Kulcha, chicken curry etc - all were cooked nicely with right level of spices. I have been to India foodie lounge in Bartlet and that was little different with some curries offered in clay pots with lids closed with clay top and tightened with a piece of naan bread. Looks interesting. Not sure they offer here as well. Overall food taste was fantastic in palatine location.

Our party of 3 had a delicious weeknight dinner here and I'll go with 4.5 rounded up to 5 stars. They have a nice corner strip mall location and an open and spacious though somewhat plainish interior. Naga, who is the operating partner here, was our welcoming server and his wife was the chef, so it's a homey and authentic mom and pop operation. We ordered the following: - Tandoori mixed grill which included tandoori chicken, a unique cilantro chicken, and shrimp ($25). The cilantro chicken was moist and delicious and had a bright green color from the cilantro. - Chicken tikka masala, $18. Delicious, but the accompanying white rice was on small side. - Vegetable biryani, $13. This was a particularly generous serving. - Garlic naan, $4 - Onion kulcha (pita bread like), $5 - Kingfisher beer, $6. All in all, we were very happy with our meal and it was a comfortable place to eat at a leisurely pace. The food came out a little on the slow side, but it did start getting busy for the lone chef just as we ordered, and we were in no hurry. Highly recommended, and I hope to return someday to try some other dishes.

This place is awesome! I've loved Indiana food ever since I met my best friend, Syed, about 10 years ago. I had never really tried much in the past. But he had me try a ton of different places. I love the flavors and spice. So, I've tried a lot of places in the Chicagoland area. I've only been here once so far, and will update my review later if needed. But this first visit was amazing! Service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant had a nice setup for casual dining or even date nites. My wife and I ordered a couple drinks. My Indian beer was very good, I got a second (I had the "Blonde"). I forget the name of my wife's cocktail, but it was nice and tasty. I also ordered a masala chai, also very good. For food we ordered the chicken tikka, fish pakora, rice, & butter naan. Again, all great. My favorite fish is usually apollo fish. I had never had fish pakora. I will say it is amazing and I will be back for more! Now, I have eaten at tons of Indian restaurants. I'd rank this in the top 10% for authentic food, flavor, and service! For sure try this place! *Edit* - I liked the fish pakora so much I ordered it for delivery the very next day! Only one thing I'm sad about. In restaurant they gave chutney & some sweet sauce with the fish. For delivery I only got chutney. And whatever that sweet sauce was, it isn't on the menu to order. We got all 4 sauces they offer while dining in. All very good! Then my fish came with a little double sauce dish with chutney & a sweet sauce while dining in. I want more of the special sauce, it was nice! That's ok it was still great! *Update* - Again, I really like this fish. I ordered again! This time I did get both chutney and the sweet sauce! I need more again soon!

One of the best restaurants in Palatine! Amazing, fresh food. I love how everything has a distinct taste. I’ve been here a couple of times already and I have to say that the curry chicken, butter naan, and kulfi (for dessert) are my go-to dishes! If you have never tried this type of food before I recommend the butter chicken because it has very tasty chicken (cut into cubes) in a well-seasoned sauce. Also, a very good appetizer is the pakora chicken (can you tell I like chicken 😂..). A great vegetable dish is the potato and cauliflower (I forgot the name). Overall, very nice workers and calming environment. The only thing I wish they had was some type of cultural music playing! I enjoy hearing music from different cultures and I believe that a restaurant that serves that cultures food is a great place to do so. Go and visit India Foodie Lounge!! 👍✨ Note: The kulfi is so good I wish I could have it everyday. I live 2 min away; will probably ride my bike here and get some more often.
