About Imperial Palace Chinese Restaurant

Welcome to Imperial Palace Chinese Restaurant, located at 1901 SW Campus Dr in Federal Way, Washington. As a Chinese Restaurant serving the local community, Imperial Palace aims to offer a variety of Chinese dishes for its patrons. You can contact them at (253) 838-2251 or their mobile number, +1 253-838-2251, for inquiries or to place an order.

Based on the limited customer reviews available, specific details about the environment of Imperial Palace Chinese Restaurant are not extensively described. One positive review mentions "great service," which could imply a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for dine-in customers, if that option is available. However, the other review focuses solely on a takeout order, providing no insights into the restaurant's ambiance. Local users might consider contacting the restaurant or visiting to ascertain the nature of their dining environment.

The services offered by Imperial Palace Chinese Restaurant appear to include both takeout and potentially dine-in options. One customer explicitly mentioned placing an order for takeout, receiving their food in four small containers and one to-go box. The positive review, which praised the service, could be referring to either dine-in or takeout service quality. To confirm the full range of services, such as delivery or specific dine-in amenities, contacting the restaurant directly would be beneficial.

Customer reviews present contrasting opinions on the food and value offered by Imperial Palace Chinese Restaurant. One enthusiastic reviewer declared it the "Best Chinese food in the area!" They also highlighted the "great service" and the generous portion sizes, noting that a single plate often provides enough food for two or three meals. This positive feedback suggests that for some customers, Imperial Palace delivers delicious food in substantial quantities, justifying their patronage and recommendations to friends.

However, another customer expressed significant disappointment with their takeout order. They paid $53.30 for what they perceived as a small amount of food, consisting of four small containers and one to-go box. Specifically mentioning the General Tso chicken and sweet and sour chicken, they felt that these dishes could have used more chicken, suggesting that the ratio of chicken to other ingredients (like breading or sauce) was unsatisfactory. This reviewer also described the chicken as possibly being tough and crunchy, indicating potential issues with the preparation or quality of the meat. In stark contrast to the first review, this customer felt that Safeway offered better quality and quantity for the same price, advising others to "look elsewhere" if they don't want to waste their money.

The significant disparity between these two reviews suggests a potential inconsistency in the food quality, portion sizes relative to price, or perhaps differing expectations and experiences of individual customers. The positive review emphasizes large portions and high quality, while the negative review criticizes small quantities and poor quality for the price paid. This makes it challenging to definitively characterize the food and value proposition of Imperial Palace based solely on these two accounts.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Imperial Palace Chinese Restaurant based on the provided reviews. Restaurants often have lunch specials, combination deals, or other promotions to attract customers. Local users interested in any such offers should contact Imperial Palace directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire about current specials or any advertised deals that might be available.

In conclusion, Imperial Palace Chinese Restaurant in Federal Way, WA, receives mixed reviews regarding its food and value. One customer considers it the best in the area, praising the generous portions and great service, while another expresses significant disappointment with the small quantities and perceived poor quality relative to the price paid for their takeout order. This contrast suggests that experiences may vary. Potential local users might want to consider these differing opinions when making their decision. Contacting the restaurant directly to inquire about their current menu, portion sizes, pricing, and any available promotions could provide further clarity. Given the conflicting feedback, trying a smaller order initially might be a prudent approach for new customers to gauge the quality and value for themselves.

Best Chinese food in the area! Great service, and lots of food - usually good for two or three meals on each plate! The person who said Safeway has better is absolutely wrong!!! We love Imperial Palace and recommend it to all our friends!

Was very disappointed with my order. Paid $53.30 for 4 small containers and 1 to-go box.. general tso chicken, sweet& sour chicken could have used more chicken. Maybe it wouldn’t have been so tuff and crunchy.. Safeway Chinese has better quality and quantity for your buck. So if u don’t like wasting your $$$$ look elsewhere..

I hope this place never closes! My daughter has food allergies and this is one of the very few Asian restaurants where I feel safe taking her. And they're really cool about it when you tell them to hold certain ingredients because of allergies. Not like other places that act like you're doing it just to be picky. Aside from great customer service, their food is DELICIOUS! Don't let the empty place fool ya. Majority of their business is take out or delivery. When your laid out in bed sneezing and congested, and you're also hungry but too sick to cook, just place an order for their bomb hot-sour soup... that'll clear you right up and help soothe your sore throat!

We ordered take out for the first time from Imperial Palace on Christmas. I have zero complaints. We ordered combo B for 2 people. The food was very good. The Mongolian Beef was delicious, very tender, no fat, tasty sauce. Ignore the bad reviews. Tell the haters I'll see you later I'm eating at Imperial Palace.

Possibly the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. How on earth is the shrimp ice cold in the Chow Mein but the other stuff is warm? The pot stickers were something I've never seen or tasted before. I will never order from this place again!!!
