Based on available information, Imperial Garden Beijing Duck Restaurant aims to provide a pleasant environment for its patrons. One customer described it as a "pretty place for dim sum and dining," suggesting an aesthetically pleasing setting for enjoying a meal. This indicates that the restaurant likely invests in creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for those who choose to dine on-site. The ambiance likely reflects traditional Chinese decorative elements, contributing to an authentic cultural experience.
In terms of services, Imperial Garden Beijing Duck Restaurant primarily functions as a dine-in establishment, offering a space for individuals and groups to enjoy their meals. The featured offering of Imperial Garden Beijing Duck Restaurant is undoubtedly their Beijing Duck. This classic dish, known for its crispy skin and succulent meat, is a staple of Peking cuisine and a significant draw for those seeking authentic Chinese flavors. Beyond this specialty, the restaurant also offers dim sum, as mentioned in a customer review. Dim sum encompasses a variety of small, savory dishes, typically served steamed, fried, or baked, providing a diverse culinary experience. The mention of "siu mai" suggests that their dim sum selection includes popular items. Furthermore, the availability of "rice roll" indicates a broader range of Cantonese-style dishes.
However, it is important to consider all available feedback to provide an objective introduction. One customer review raised a concern regarding smoking inside the restaurant close to closing time, which was a significant negative experience for that individual. This suggests a potential inconsistency in maintaining a smoke-free environment throughout operating hours. Another review mentioned a perceived decline in the taste and quality of the food compared to past experiences, expressing disappointment and a likelihood of not returning. This feedback highlights the importance of consistent food quality to maintain customer satisfaction. The same review noted that the "siu mai" was "pretty good" but described the "rice roll" as appearing less appealing than pictured.
Considering these points, potential local users should be aware of both the positive aspects, such as the potentially pleasant dining environment and the availability of classic dishes like Beijing Duck and dim sum, as well as the reported negative experiences concerning smoking and inconsistent food quality. It would be prudent for new customers to try a selection of dishes to form their own opinion on the current quality and service.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available online. However, local users interested in experiencing Imperial Garden Beijing Duck Restaurant are encouraged to contact them directly via phone to inquire about any ongoing specials, discounts, or new menu items. In conclusion, Imperial Garden Beijing Duck Restaurant in Kent, WA, presents itself as a Chinese restaurant specializing in Beijing Duck and offering a variety of other dishes, including dim sum. They provide both dine-in and meal delivery services for local users' convenience. Pretty place for dimsum and dining, but if you stop by late close to the closing time these guys smoke inside the restaurant. So that’s the turn off for me. It got on my clothes and I inhale their cigarette smokes.
It used to be good and delicious, now it is just taste different. Probably not coming back anytime soon. Siu mai pretty good. Rice roll is so wringkly than the picture they have.
So many changes recently. I miss the food carts to now ordering on a tablet (that barely works) and many food choices long gone. Once an incredible place to eat now is down on my list of dim sum choices
Dim sum was good. It was quite odd that the deep fried shrimp tasted a bit sour. I'm used to seeing ground meat in sticky rice dish but now they use pieces of meat instead. Also, it appears the food quality has gone down hill. Their King county food safety rating is "Okay". Majority of the items on the menu are priced at L $6.25. Service is slow as well. Would be nice if they would bring back the dim sum carts.
I have been here many times and food is great but they are lack of service. I sat down and ask for water to multiple waitress and they still haven’t brought for us. I ordered my food and some spicy dishes and eating half of my food and still haven’t gotten any water. I had to be very firm to them again to get some water for my kids and I. I feel like I shouldn’t have to ask 8 times for just a glass of water. It should be offer as soon as you sit down. This is terrible service and they need to get better on that. The worst part is there was hair on one of my dish and I had to send it back.
