About Imperial Buffet
Imperial Buffet, situated at 218 NE 8th St in Homestead, Florida, operates within the Chinese Restaurant category, offering a buffet-style dining experience to its patrons. Located in Homestead, FL 33030, USA, Imperial Buffet aims to provide a variety of food options for customers looking for a self-serve dining experience. While the provided information does not include a phone number or mobile phone contact, customer reviews offer some insights into the food and service at this establishment.
One customer expressed a strong affinity for Imperial Buffet, particularly highlighting the pizza and kabobs as exceptional ("to die for"). This reviewer indicated they were a regular customer and appreciated the friendly service they received. They also conveyed a sense of loss and disappointment when the restaurant was temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasizing the impact on small, favorite local eateries. Their excitement about the reopening of Imperial Buffet suggests a positive past experience and an eagerness to return, indicating a loyal customer base who value the food and atmosphere of the restaurant.
In contrast, another customer had a significantly negative experience during a dinner visit. They rated the restaurant with only two stars, primarily because they were hungry and ate the food despite their dissatisfaction. Their primary complaint centered on the quality and temperature of the buffet items. They noted that the food had been sitting out for a while, and some dishes were not even served hot. Furthermore, they felt that the selection of "premium choices" was inadequate, especially considering the dinner price of $11 per person. This reviewer suggested that a higher dinner price should correspond with better and a wider variety of food options. Their disappointment was so significant that their wife reportedly could not eat her meal. The total cost for their visit was $53, which they regretted spending, stating they would not eat at Imperial Buffet again. This review raises concerns about food freshness, temperature control, and the value proposition of the dinner buffet.
Considering these two reviews, there is a stark contrast in customer experiences at Imperial Buffet. One customer praises specific items like pizza and kabobs and appreciates the friendly service, expressing loyalty and joy at the restaurant's reopening. This suggests that Imperial Buffet may have certain signature dishes that are well-received and a staff that can be friendly and welcoming. However, the other review paints a picture of a disappointing dinner experience with concerns about food quality (freshness and temperature), limited premium options for the price, and overall value. This suggests potential inconsistencies in the buffet offerings and quality control.
The provided information does not offer any details about the environment or ambiance of Imperial Buffet. As a buffet restaurant, it likely features a setup with various food stations and seating areas to accommodate a self-serve dining model. However, without specific descriptions, it is difficult to provide a detailed account of the restaurant's atmosphere or decor. Similarly, the services offered are implied to be primarily buffet-style dining, but whether they offer takeout, delivery, or other services is not mentioned in the reviews.
Furthermore, there is no information regarding any current promotional offers at Imperial Buffet. Buffet restaurants sometimes have special pricing for certain days or times, or discounts for groups, but no such details are provided in the given text. Local users would need to visit the restaurant or check local listings to find out if any promotions are currently available.
In conclusion, Imperial Buffet in Homestead, FL, is a Chinese restaurant offering a buffet with a potentially diverse range of items, including unexpectedly popular choices like pizza and kabobs, alongside more traditional Chinese fare. While one long-time customer speaks highly of the food and friendly service, another recent diner experienced issues with food quality (temperature and freshness) and felt the premium selection was lacking for the dinner price. This suggests that the experience at Imperial Buffet may vary. Local users considering dining here might find certain dishes to be enjoyable, but should also be aware of the potential for inconsistencies in food quality and the overall value of the buffet, especially during dinner service. Further information about the restaurant's environment, full range of services, and any ongoing promotions would require additional sources.

Customer Reviews
Love the pizza they have and the kabobs they have are to die for i was a regular there and they are very friendly. When covid hit i was devastated almost to tears when it was shut down cause of lost profit in fact many small favorite restaurants suffered many still closed today or replaced but this place is back and I hope to be the first to spend my money in great food.
The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because I was hungry so I ate the food,. This place is not good. First, we went for dinner so the price is 11 dollars a person; the food had been sitting out a while, some of it was not even hot. Second, there were not enough premium choices, I am assuming, but if you are going to raise your prices for dinner you will have better and different foods. My wife couldn't even eat her food it was do bad! All in all it cost us 53 dollars that we wish we could get back...we won't be eating here again.
Delicious, fresh, wish there were a few more vegetarian options. But it was great. Beware, cheese wontons have animals in them i think.
food is disgusting. Bathrooms are filthy. No fruit. Salad bar consists of lettuce, cucumbers, tomato and that's about it. Check out my picture of the front there's about 3,000 pieces of gum stuck to the sidewalk. I was traveling and hungry so I made this mistake. Don't bother coming here, you WILL be disappointed. $8 for my 6 year old that hardly eat anything because there was not fruit. Sad place
This is one of my favorite places my spouse and I thoroughly enjoy. The service is awesome, the food selection appeasing to your tastebuds and the attention to detail is an added bonus. You'll leave with memories, smiles and a satisfied belly
