Ichiddo ramen

Came in at lunch at 11 right when they open , my server Veronica was incredibly nice and helpful Ordered the Thai iced tea! It was okay, not has deep of a tea taste as I’m used to The karage was also okay, breading was thin and nice and the chicken was decent chunks of cut chicken thigh and yet it was dry. I wouldn’t order it again. Now the takoyaki was the star of my meal. It was perfectly made, the only thing I was a little disappointed in was the amount of octopus per ball. I ordered the spicy miso ramen. The broth was rly pork forward but not milky like a regular tonkotsu broth. It’s missing a little salt, maybe more tare? Idk it didn’t taste like miso at all because the pork taste was to strong. The noodles were rly good tho! Same for presentation. I had to ask for chili oil because I didn’t find it very spicy but it tasted good with kimchi! Over all the broth is lacking to me and I might come again to try their non broth dishes Overall it’s an okay food experience but I really enjoyed my service so I can see myself coming again

This is a newer restaurant in Downtown Naperville, so decided to try this out. Unfortunately, not my favorite. Service and ambience are okay but it always comes down to the food which did not taste that great. We ordered the Takoyaki which was okay at best- wish there was more octopus in it. Ramen was very plain, lacked flavor and meat was under seasoned. On the positive, service was very quick, food presented well. Worst part was for sure the bubble tea, I would not order that again, watery and artificial tasting. For the price point, I would expect much higher quality and flavor of food. Unlikely to visit again.

Happy to see a new restaurant here, today is there 2nd day and they are still ironing out some details. We ordered Char Siu Ramen, Niku soba ramen, spicy cucumber and takoyaki. Everything was very delicious. They were still preparing the boba (were the first customer for today) so it was not available yet. The Fresh brown sugar was delicious and strawberry yakult was refreshing. Love the design that they made with the restaurant, the fans hanging by the wall are really cute. The service since they just open needs a little improvement, took us awhile to get our check. I’m not sure about the earlier reviews but the servers were helpful and polite. If we're craving for ramen we don't have to drive to Schaumburg.

Clearly labeled vegetarian ramen and fried rice options. Ramen was made with vegetarian broth (you have to ask for it). Broth was flavorful. Added chilli oil to make it spicy. Portion sizes are perfect for one. We used to always end up taking to-go boxes in other ramen places for the same price but not in this restaurant. Hubby tried shredded Char Siu fried rice and liked it! He too relied on chilli oil for the spicy kick. Corn in Japanese fried rice was surprisingly good. Waitress messed up the order by giving it to another table and we had to wait for another 10mins 😀 Matcha and Vanilla ice cream was good and the texture was more like Italian ice. Day 1 visit and have been eagerly waiting for the place to open. Great ambience and atmosphere, exciting menu. Pork bun was good and had good flavor. Ramen was very well cooked, broth is good and could use more flavor. Will visit again in a couple of weeks
