One customer reported a negative experience, citing rude staff and issues with the quality of their Shrimp Fried Rice, noting that the shrimp were not properly cleaned. They also described both steamed and fried dumplings as doughy and chewy.

Another customer expressed disappointment with their order of Orange Chicken, stating that it resembled sweet and sour chicken with orange zest and slices rather than a traditional glazed and spicy Orange Chicken. They noted a discrepancy between the menu description ("orange chicken" with a chili pepper icon) and the actual dish received, which they felt tasted like repurposed sweet and sour sauce. Their receipt indicated "chicken with orange flavor."

We typically order from either Lucky Star in Andorra or China Star in Blue Bell. As we were in the area, we ordered from Hunan Wok. What a disappointment. The staff was very rude. We ordered Shrimp Fried Rice. The shrimp were tiny, but more importantly, they were not cleaned! Each shrimp had a black line of you know what along the back. Disgusting. Also ordered steamed and fried dumplings. Both varieties were doughy and chewy. More like a bun than a dumpling. Won't be going back.

I ordered orange chicken and received orange chicken soup. Orange chicken is suppose to be glazed chicken with a kick, as it's on the spicy menu. Unfortunately, the chef seems to have repurposed sweet and sour sauce with chicken and added orange zest and slices to the dish. The taste of this dish (pictured) being sweet and sour, nothing like an actual orange chicken dish. Looking at the receipt it says "chicken with orange flavor". The menu reads "orange chicken" in pink text with a chili pepper icon.

Food was super greasy, after a while, I felt like I was tasting the oil and not the food. Barely finished it. Not to mention the the menu is overpriced for certain items even compared to some the decent spots. Food was just subpar at best. I was better off going next door to Wawa and sticking with what I know and paying less for a solid meal. Note to self really…🥴

They have the best General Tao’s chicken in the Tristate. It is crispy sweet a bit spicy. We always order this along with beef with mixed Chinese vegetables.

The food here is always great. General Taos chicken is always super crispy which I love. Portions are big. More wontons in a large wonton soup than I’ve ever seen anywhere else so great for the family.
