We were greeted by the sweetest woman that added a table and chair to our booth in order to accommodate our party of 5 since the other large tables were occupied. We hit a home run with everything we ordered! Get the fried chicken dumplings! (Best we’ve ever had). We also ordered Mei Fun, General Tao’s chicken, and the orange chicken.

This place is our go to place everytime we go to Walmart. The employees are super sweet and friendly. The food is always super tasty and the portion size is very good. 10% off if you pay with cash. We will definitely keep coming back.

She’s truly the heart and soul of the place, always ready with a smile and more than willing to adjust the spice level to your liking—one of the many reasons I keep coming back! We started off with the Chicken Corn Soup, which is a perfect balance of savory chicken and sweet corn in a comforting, lightly seasoned broth. It’s a dish that’s rich in flavor yet light enough to start off your meal. Next, the Chicken Lo Mein did not disappoint. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the chicken was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of soy-based sauce. It’s a simple dish done exceptionally well—something you could easily crave for days. The Black Pepper Chicken is a standout. If you love a little heat, this dish is an absolute must. The chicken was juicy, stir-fried to perfection, and coated in a bold black pepper sauce that delivers a delightful spicy punch without overpowering the other flavors. And then there’s the Thai Spicy Rice—a hidden gem on the menu. If you’re a fan of spicy rice dishes, this is the one to try. It’s bursting with flavor and just the right amount of heat, perfectly complementing the other dishes. It’s spicy, but not painfully so—just enough to satisfy any heat-seeker. What really sets Halal Hunan Village apart, aside from the consistently delicious food, is the exceptional service. Auntie Tina is always welcoming, and she goes out of her way to make sure your meal is exactly how you like it—whether that means adjusting spice levels or offering recommendations. If you’re in the mood for an authentic, halal Chinese meal packed with flavor and spice, I cannot recommend this place enough. You’ll leave happy, full, and already planning your next visit. 5 stars all the way! PS: Auntie very observant and noticed i was mixing my chicken corn soup with a little bit of sweet and sour soup. Everything was EVERYTHING. Vegetable Spring Rolls FIRE, Steamed Lamb Dumplings FIRE, Shrimp Fried Rice, Shrimp and Broccoli, FIRE. Loved momma customer services. The two servers were okay but could use some training in better communication, checking on guest and cleaning as customers finished. DEFINITELY going back here.

I would 100% recommend this place. For many reasons but most important is Christine. She truly makes everything special. Even though there is a closer Hunan Village by my place, I will always drive extra to visit Christine’s branch. The chef is amazing, food is always tasty, experience is always great.
