Hunan Manor has been a go-to spot for some for years. Recent online ordering experiences indicate a focus on customer care, with one reviewer appreciating a proactive call from the owner to confirm their order due to the delivery distance. This personal touch left a positive impression.
Recent reviews offer mixed perspectives on the food. Dishes like Lobster Lo Mein were noted for a strong seafood flavor (7/10), while the Spicy Tangy Dumplings Szechuan Style were flavorful but not spicy enough for one reviewer (8/10). The Pork with Garlic Sauce was described simply as having garlic flavor (6/10), and the Pork Peking Style did not meet expectations regarding crispy skin, though the flavor was acceptable (6/10).
However, another customer reported a negative experience with the Orange Chicken and wontons, suggesting they tasted reheated and day-old. This reviewer also mentioned an issue with restroom availability. Despite this, they acknowledged the politeness of the staff.
While opinions on specific dishes vary, Hunan Manor appears to prioritize customer service, as highlighted by the owner's attentiveness in one instance. We encourage you to consider the range of experiences shared as you decide on your order.

This has been our go to place for years. This afternoon was a bit disappointing but, I believe that is due to my forgetting that the General Tso's hadn't ever been that spicy at this location. Not a bad thing, however, the spicy is what I personally crave. I will say, this was our first time ordering online. The owner called me because my address was a 20 min drive away and she wanted to make sure I didn't place an order at the wrong place. I appreciated the care she put into her customers to actually ask that question. That alone would give this place 5 stars every time This afternoon we tried a number of new dishes in preparation for this review: Lobster lo mein: strong seafood scent and flavor. Wasn't terrible, but would fill a seafood craving: 7/10 Spicy Tangy Dumplings Szechuan Style: just dumplings hanging out in chili oil. Never spicy enough, flavor was good though: 8/10 Pork with Garlic Sauce: garlic...bout it. 6/10 Pork Peking Style: the main reason I took pictures, Google made it seem like the crispy skin was a factor. This is absolutely not the case. Flavor was fine, my own expectations got in the way so I'll give it 6/10
I honestly don't know how they have 4 stars. I ordered orange chicken and wontons. Both tasted like they were day old and reheated. You know how Chinese food is when reheated, chewy and tasteless. The only thing fresh was my fortune cookie and rice. I also asked to use the bathroom and they told me it was in use... The entire time I sat waiting for my food it apparently was in use. They would have been better off telling me they didn't have a bathroom for public use. The lady however was nice and addressed me by name. That's why I have 4 stars for service, minus one for the bathroom lie. I'm sorry but Chinese food should always be served fresh that day, not from the previous day.
Egg roll Was not cooked all the way, but very close to the ones you get in NYC. The wrapping is correct but there was no roasted pork inside the egg roll. Please cook the egg roll all the way. Fried Wontons These were good, but it would have been perfect if it had more meat inside. There are not a lot of places around the area that have perfect wontons. Tofu with mixed vegetables Too much sauce, but this was great! Overall, Egg roll is not worth the price. Fried wontons and Tofu with mixed vegetables are definitely worth the buy.
Great food good price .. the only problem they don’t have a bathroom to wash your hands that’s why i don’t give 5 stars .
I read some of the reviews about this lady but I figured that everyone has a bad day once in a while right? We're all human. No, not this lady. I tried to give her one last chance to fix her mistake but she is the worst that china and humanity has to offer. I won't rant about how rude she is but believe me it's beyond rude. It's just plain trash. I wonder why anyone would want to spend their money where they are treated this way. You've been warned.
