About Hunan Inn

Hunan Inn is a Chinese restaurant located at 3662 Chamblee Tucker Rd B in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. As a Chinese restaurant, Hunan Inn offers a range of dishes for customers looking for takeout options. You can reach them at phone number (770) 493-8268 or mobile phone +1 770-493-8268.

Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at Hunan Inn appear to be mixed. Some customers have reported issues with the food quality, describing it as overpriced, salty, and of poor quality. Specific mentions include a negative experience with the Crab Ragoon and Lo Mein, which was described as plain noodles without vegetables or seasoning. One customer who spent $70 on takeout expressed extreme dissatisfaction and stated they would not return.

However, not all feedback was negative. One reviewer noted the "great service" and a "very clean environment" with "cute ambience," also appreciating the presentation and fast service. While this customer found the General Tso's chicken to taste like "pure flour" and the spring roll to be subpar, they enjoyed other items such as the tea, hot & sour soup, and crispy noodles. This reviewer indicated a willingness to give Hunan Inn another chance due to the cleanliness and service.

The General Tso's chicken received mixed feedback, with one customer finding it "ok" while another found it inedible. Overall, it seems that while Hunan Inn may offer a clean environment and prompt service, there are concerns regarding the consistency and quality of some of its dishes. Potential customers may want to consider these recent reviews when making a decision.

Great service, but my General Tso’s tasted like pure flour. Maybe it was just prepped prior to serving but that should have been prepped a few hours earlier. Imagine eating 10 spoonfuls of flour. But very clean environment. I love the presentation and attention to detail. Very prompt, fast service. Excellent value!!! Loved everything else. But General Tso’s was so bad I didn’t want the doggie bag. But my tea, hot & sour soup and crispy noodles were good. The spring roll was a little on the oh no side. I would give them another chance since it was so clean with a cute ambience. I would just pray for a better option.

Ordered thru uber eats. I was craving some subgum wonton soup. Found this restaurant. I had called and asked questions, since they call it special wonton soup. The lady on the phone starts to say order a side of rolls and call me after you place your order so we can substitute it with extra mushrooms instead. Red flag. Anyways, food gets here. Soup: no flavor, no wonton, 2 shrimp, a few pieces of chicken and a few mushroom. Called back the restaurant and the guy that answered was like, oh okay. Great attitude.

Hunan Inn delivered in the service category. The owner and staff were friendly, attentive, and quick. I ordered a luncheon special of Mongolian beef. It came with a cup of egg drop soup, spring roll, fried rice, and crunchy rice noodles. I was suffering from a slight cold when I visited Hunan Inn, and the egg drop soup was a bit too mild for me to truly taste. The consistency was spot on, however. The fried rice and spring roll were very straightforward and standard. Both were freshly prepared and added substance to the lunch. The Mongolian beef and crunchy rice noodles delivered. The beef was sweet, salty, tender, and expertly prepared. The noodles added a welcome crunch to round things out. All in all, this was a pleasant lunch experience.
