Hunan Gourmet under new management is truly outstanding! I recently visited and had the honor of being the very first—and so far, the only—person to order their Pineapple Fried Rice, and it was incredible. The dish was a perfect combination of tender shrimp and chicken, sweet pineapple, crunchy cashew nuts, and a hint of curry powder that tied everything together beautifully. It was as delicious as it was unique, and I felt like I had discovered a hidden gem on their menu! I also tried the Pad Thai (gluten-free), and it was equally impressive. The noodles were cooked to perfection, mixed with egg, fresh bean sprouts, and scallion, and topped with crunchy ground peanuts. The flavors were spot-on, and I’m thrilled to say I don’t have to travel far for amazing Thai food anymore—Hunan Gourmet has it all right here, And don't even get me started on the eggrolls! The new management has brought a fresh energy to this restaurant, with a menu that perfectly blends Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese dishes. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the ambiance made for a wonderful dining experience. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on a true culinary treasure. I can’t wait to go back and try more!

They always greet us when we come in, always soo friendly even when its a little busier!! The food is amazing same as the presentation! Always looks so beautiful and taste just as good as it looks!! The place looks so nice so relaxing, they usually turn on some music, overall everything is amazing!! And for the price this is greatt!! Went with my friend, we both got dessert main meals, drinks, and some small additions !! Even when we would do delivery we would get sooo much for the price its amazing!!

I've been here twice and on my last visit the lady said it was their first time making pad thai and pineapple fried rice. It's cool being the first to try something. I've never had that happen at a restaurant before. I got spring roll, boneless ribs, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp pad thai, and pineapple fried rice. The spring roll wasn't good. It was super doughy with barely any filling and tasted weird. The boneless ribs were ok. They had a decent flavor but weren't charred at all. First time having none charred boneless ribs. Next was the sweet and sour chicken. This had a good tasting sauce but the chicken batter was soggy. Sweet and sour chicken for takeout should have the sauce on the side so this doesn't happen. The shrimp pad thai wasn't bad. The shrimp and noodles were cooked nicely but the sauce had a really weird overly sweetness. Last dish was pineapple fried rice with extra cashews. It was good, had a good flavor but had very little pineapple and definitely didn't have extra cashews. They gave little sides of duck sauce but I didn't like it. It tasted like fruit syrup with a splash of vinegar. Overall this place isn't bad. Some dishes are hit or miss. I'd get the pineapple fried rice again. If the pad thai wasn't so sweet I'd get that again for sure. Edit - My reviews are based off of how dishes are supposed to be made not preferences.

Tried this place after new management and it's an actual tragedy that they got bought out. The rice is awful and has a weird after taste now. They also increased the prices, which would be okay, I understand prices have increased everywhere, except they also cut the portions basically in half which is unacceptable in combination with the price increase. This used to be the best Chinese food in the area, now it's not even a good half Chinese half Thai option. We don't need some wanna be fancy chef pushing trendy Thai food, we need a good cheap Chinese restaurant that tastes good, which this place used to be. Will literally never go back.
