The staff is really nice but the food was very disappointing. I ordered combination fried rice. Seemed like a safe choice to get a feel for the restaurant. But it was the most bland fried rice ive ever had. It was completely under salted. No flavor at all.

The best egg drop soup. It’s so simple, but perfectly seasoned every time. I also love their General Joe’s (Taos) and Orange Chicken which I order with white rice on the side. The chicken is always crispy on the outside, but still tender. So good. Don’t pass on the egg drop soup!

I have given Hunan a chance quite a few times, have to call it. Just bad. I wish we had a decent proper Chinese takeout in East Nashville. Every time I have eaten here (5 in total) it has been OK to bad. The good : Easy online order, food was ready when it was supposed to be, prices are OK, large menu, convenient location, tons of parking if you walk in. The bad : The location has slowly gone from "needing work" to being just "run down". Add that to plain bad Chinese food and this will not be a repeat. Food was cold and stuck together, and flavor was marginal.

We used to eat here years ago when our kids were little the gentleman in the drive thru would say "You're dinner is ready". Sweet man. Loved it.💜 Anyway..our kids are grown now..😂🤣 The food is still awe-mazing..wonderful customer service. We'll definitely be back. Building looks a wee bit rough..but again the food and service are awe-mazing..drive thru👌🏽

Love this place! The woman that works there works very hard she’s always there when I go the food is always hot and taste great I have never gone there out of the many times I’ve went and hated the food. It’s an amazing spot to get quick but good quality Chinese food. Workers are always nice as well!
