Hunan Chinese Restaurant

I ordered the chow mein through DoorDash but received something completely different. I called the restaurant and was told that I got what I ordered. Either they don’t know what chow mein is or they gave me the wrong thing. I mean, why would noodles come with white rice if I got the chow mein? My wife ordered the pad thai. It’s super bland and has an aftertaste of fish sauce. We will not be eating from here again. I’ll be sticking to real Chinese food at Wei Wei palace.

My family has been coming here for 25 years I believe. Me and the boys stop by and eat all the time. For 8-10 bucks at lunch with a drink can’t be beat for price. Like 12 at dinner. Plus the guy who runs it is super nice. Never had any issues. Love this place. And if the owner is reading this, this is the big dude who stops in with his buddies all the time. We ordered the Sweet n Sour chicken and shrimp lunch specials and they were as good as we remembered from the past! It came with soup fried rice and egg rolls or crab rangoons. I love when the rice actually sizzles when put into the broth! The rangoons were very flavorful and crispy. I was very happy with the veggies in the dish. Many places don't put them in. The atmosphere is cozy and I love the big windows they have now. Soft music was very peaceful. Will be back again!!

I love this restaurant. 😍 The food is great, and the servings are very filling. By the time we ate our soup and egg roll, we were full. Very friendly and staff makes you feel like family.

For a little place out of the way, it was amazing. Came early for lunch around 11:30. The staff was friendly and sat us down immediately. A lunch deal came with rice soup, and egg roll for like 9 bucks after tax, the food arrived fast, and I got enough for lunch tomorrow too. The egg drop soup was one of the best I've ever had, and crab cheese was excellent. Would highly recommend.
