About HuHot Mongolian Grill

HuHot Mongolian Grill, located at 10835 S State St, Sandy, UT 84070, USA, offers a unique dining concept where customers can create their own stir-fry dishes. While categorized as a Chinese Restaurant on the platform, HuHot Mongolian Grill provides a broader Asian-inspired experience with a focus on Mongolian BBQ style cooking.

One reviewer found the food to be not that great, especially when compared to other Mongolian BBQ places. They also noted that the "grill warriors" (the staff at the grill) did not appear friendly, lacked smiles, seemed upset, and looked somewhat unkempt.

In contrast, another customer had a positive experience with the table service, describing it as great. The server was attentive without being intrusive and did not forget about them, even though they were seated in a less central location which they actually preferred. This reviewer also noted that the store and buffet lines were clean.

Another customer found the concept cool and appreciated the good amount of meat options, although they noted that the seasoning and sauces take some experimentation to get right. They felt the lunch price was a great deal. This reviewer enjoyed the yakisoba noodles and a friend rice creation, as well as the crispy and delicious egg rolls. They also experienced great, friendly, and attentive service, noted plenty of parking, and highlighted the great dessert options. Additionally, they mentioned that the restaurant was not very crowded for lunch, which they found pleasant.

The environment appears to be clean, with a cool and unique concept centered around a customizable grill. Service experiences seem to vary, with some finding it great and friendly, while others had negative impressions of the grill staff. The price for lunch is considered a good deal by one reviewer. Food was not that great, especially when compared to other Mongolian BBQ places. The grill warriors were not people I would want interacting with the public at my business. Not very friendly, no smiles, and both just seemed a little upset. Also, both men seemed a little unkempt. The service was great. She checked on us a few times, didn't hover, and didn't forget about us even though we were seated in the back back back corner (we actually loved the table). The store was clean, and so were the buffet lines.

Cool concept. Good amount of meat options. but not a ton. It takes A bit to get down the seasoning and sauces. It's not bad for the price of lunch. It's a great deal. I had the yakusuba Noodle and than made a friend rice. It was good. The egg rolls were really crispy and delicious. The service was great. Friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking and some great dessert options. The place also wasn't very crowded for lunch. Which was nice.

Nice to make your own bowl. And build your own. Lots of variety. Fun atmosphere to watch the chef. Price is reasonable.

Absolutely delicious! You get to create your own Mongolian grill dish, and it is all you can eat! We came around 5:40pm on a Friday night which was perfect. Not a lot of people and we could get through the line to cook our food quickly. Our waitress always had our drinks full and it was quiet enough to enjoy a conversation.

Great food, like the fact you can make whatever you want. Good quality ingredients, their lemonades are tasty, staff is friendly and fast. Place is clean and looks good, and it's not terribly expensive either! Definitely one of my favorite new restaurants!
