About huang's china bistro

Welcome to Huang's China Bistro, a Chinese restaurant located at 19826 N Cove Rd C in Cornelius, North Carolina. As a local establishment in the Chinese Restaurant category, Huang's China Bistro offers a variety of Chinese dishes to the community. You can contact them at (704) 987-2299 or their mobile number +1 704-987-2299 for inquiries or to place an order for takeout or delivery, potentially through platforms like DoorDash.

Based on the available online reviews, customer experiences at Huang's China Bistro appear to be divided, with some patrons expressing high satisfaction while others have reported significant disappointment. One loyal customer mentioned driving through newly falling snow specifically to get their "egg drop wanton soup," indicating that this dish is a particular favorite and worth the effort to acquire. This reviewer also praised their "orange peel chicken" and "black pepper beef," stating that they have "never had anything bad from here." This positive feedback suggests that Huang's China Bistro has the ability to produce well-received and enjoyable dishes that keep customers returning.

However, another customer who ordered food based on "good reviews from Door Dash" had a considerably less favorable experience. They found the food to be "just not good," specifically criticizing the "honey chicken" for lacking any honey flavor and having a rubbery texture. The reviewer was unable to identify the sauce used but was certain it did not taste like honey. Additionally, they described the "fried rice" as tasting "mostly like oil" and unlike any other fried rice they had experienced, emphasizing this was not a positive observation. Ultimately, this customer was so dissatisfied with both the honey chicken and the fried rice that they ended up throwing them out, considering their $31 order a waste of money. This strongly negative feedback highlights potential inconsistencies in food quality or preparation at Huang's China Bistro.

Interestingly, the same reviewer who had a negative experience with the honey chicken and fried rice did find one item on their order to be satisfactory. They mentioned that "the dumplings were pretty good" and that they "did enjoy them." This suggests that while some dishes may fall short of expectations, others at Huang's China Bistro can still be of good quality and enjoyable.

Considering these reviews, it is evident that there is a range of experiences among customers. One long-time patron consistently enjoys several specific dishes, including the egg drop wanton soup, orange peel chicken, and black pepper beef. In contrast, another customer found the honey chicken and fried rice to be very poor, but appreciated the dumplings. This disparity in feedback indicates that the quality of different menu items might vary, or that individual preferences and expectations play a significant role in the overall satisfaction.

Regarding the environment of Huang's China Bistro, neither of the provided reviews offers any specific details. Therefore, we do not have any direct customer feedback on the restaurant's ambiance or decor. Similarly, there is no information provided about the dine-in experience, as both reviews seem to be based on takeout or delivery orders.

In terms of services, the reviews confirm that Huang's China Bistro offers takeout, as mentioned by the customer who had a negative experience and ordered through DoorDash, implying delivery is also an option. The positive reviewer's comment about driving to the location suggests they might have opted for takeout or dine-in, although this is not explicitly stated. The phone numbers provided indicate that customers can call to place orders or make inquiries.

There is no information available in these reviews regarding any specific features of Huang's China Bistro, such as unique menu items beyond those mentioned, or any promotional information like lunch specials or discounts. The feedback is primarily focused on the quality of specific dishes.

In summary, Huang's China Bistro in Cornelius, NC, has received mixed reviews from its customers. While some patrons highly recommend certain dishes like the egg drop wanton soup, orange peel chicken, and black pepper beef, others have had very negative experiences with items such as the honey chicken and fried rice. The dumplings appear to be a more consistently positive option. If you are considering ordering from Huang's China Bistro, it might be helpful to take into account the specific dishes that have received positive and negative feedback. For those who value particular items like the egg drop wanton soup, this restaurant might be worth trying. However, it's also important to be aware of the reported issues with other dishes. You can contact Huang's China Bistro at (704) 987-2299 or +1 704-987-2299 to inquire about their menu and services, keeping in mind the varied experiences shared by other customers.

I drove in the newly falling snow just to get their egg drop wanton soup. I also like their orange peel chicken and black pepper beef. I've never had anything bad from here.

Ordered food from here based on good reviews from Door Dash. But the food was just not good. Honey chicken didn't have any honey flavor. I don't know what sauce was used, but it certainly didn't taste like honey. The chicken was very rubbery. The fried rice tasted mostly like oil and not like any other fried rice I've had...and I don't mean that in a good way. Both these dishes were very disappointing and ended up throwing them out. The dumbings were pretty good though, and I did enjoy them.

If you’re looking for really good Chinese food in the Lake Norman area look no further. Huang’s China Bistro is incredible. Their food is delicious and service is impeccable. I fed 25 people tonight and every single one was in agreement that this was the best! We ordered everything from Mongolian beef, Chicken and Broccoli, lo mein, fried rice, tofu and more. It all exceeded expectations! You can’t go wrong with anything!

A take out place. Owner only busy with other stuff than the restaurant. Problematic. Ordered one entree paid high price for that and gave me an entirely different one plus disgusting ingredients and bland taste. Threw to trash

Huang's China Bistro is the best Chinese food that we've found so far in this area. I always have the Sweet and Sour Chicken. The outside is lightly crispy and the chicken is never dry. The sauce is just the right flavor I pour it all over the dish and my noodles. Speaking of noodles, they have yummy noodles. They are soft and delicious, never dry. They taste so good with the Sweet and Sour sauce. Give Huang's a try. You won't be sorry.
