About Hua Rong

Hua Rong is a Chinese restaurant situated at 8323 Broadway #1 in Flushing, New York, offering a menu of authentic and homey Chinese dishes. Customers have highlighted the delicious clam and cabbage dough, particularly recommended for the morning. A standout feature is their traditional handmade dumplings, suggesting a commitment to classic culinary techniques.

For those seeking healthier options, Hua Rong is praised for preparing Chinese dishes with less salt and less fat, while still ensuring a good balance of vegetables and proteins. This makes it a potentially appealing choice for health-conscious diners looking for genuine Chinese flavors.

The restaurant is confirmed to be open every day for breakfast, correcting potentially inaccurate opening times found elsewhere. The service at Hua Rong is generally considered good, with staff members described as professional and helpful. The atmosphere at Hua Rong is described as nothing super fancy or dazzling, but rather authentic and homey, suggesting a comfortable and unpretentious dining environment. The hostess is also mentioned as being really welcoming and understanding, contributing to a positive customer experience.

While it might get busy, and waiting times could occur, one reviewer draws a comparison to waiting for popular French or Italian dishes, implying that the quality of the authentic Chinese food at Hua Rong is worth a potential wait. Delicious clam and cabbage dough in the morning. Handmade dumplings are very traditional. Highly recommended if you would like to have a Chinese dish with less salt, less fat, but good vegies and proteins! They definitely open everyday for breakfast. The open time here is wrong. The service is good. It might be slow during peaks because they have very limited staff members. But everyone here is professional and helpful in their services. Plus, people would wait for hours for a French or Italian dish. So why not for a nice Chinese plate?

Ordered beef with bitter melon off menu, and it was the best I have ever had. Staff was very kind and accommodating. Ordered about 4 dishes and was surprised at the total after eating in - definitely a good deal for the amount of food. Do not be fooled by the interior of the restaurant - the food is excellent!

Bad attitude, well, I have seen worst in Fuzhounese place. But it is one of the worst for sure. I do think they deserve my respect as they serve like I was not paying for my meal or what.

Wow! We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. We ordered 4 dishes for takeout. It was surprisingly amazing! The rice is plentifully packed. The food was totally on point! Authentic taste and style! Every dish and every flavor was made perfectly! This is our new go to spot now! Update: price is increasing almost every other month. We still go here for take out but we might to find some other place because the take out boxes aren't that big and being overpriced.
