Howard Wang's Preston Hollow

Been coming here for years this place never disappoints me always delicious. The service is also good. The crispy beef is always my go to.

We had friendly but really slow service. The problem was the food. The egg rolls looked great but were flavorless, unseasoned pork and tons of cabbage. The peppered steak was chewy and tough in an extremely salty sauce. The bbq pork lo-mein was swimming in sweet sauce. I can't recommend this restaurant.

Please don't get stuck eating this food like I did without reading the reviews. One star doesn't begin to give it a low enough rating! Not only was the food inedible, but I noticed on my Uber order that it had excluded silverware. I'm sitting in a hotel room so I called them as soon as I placed the order spoke with the woman and said Please make sure you put silverware in my order and she said oh yes no problem I got that right now. Guess what it showed up without? That's right, silverware! So for a while I used my fingers to grab the chicken trying to make sense of the whole thing, and then I got creative and used two wooden coffee stir that thankfully were in the hotel room. And before you ask why I didn't go downstairs to get some, I'm in the hotel room not feeling well and wanted to try to eat a little something. Absolute fail

Came on Christmas night and we were met at door by host who told us they were not sitting any more customers because all three cooks had walked out due to some internal problems but we told her we wanted to stay and we were glad we did as Howard Wang and his son came in to cook! Ordered orange beef walnut chicken and moo shi chicken and hot and sour soup and egg rolls. We were very pleased . Always pleased when we eat here.

I ordered the stir fry chicken and this is what I received. Horrible. Completely unseasoned, zero sauce, bland. I would not eat here again. The other picture is for reference of what is shown on DoorDash.
