Based on recent customer feedback, the experiences at House of Pang appear to be quite polarized, with some customers reporting significant issues while others have praised the food and service. It is crucial for local users to consider both sets of opinions when deciding whether to patronize this restaurant.
One detailed negative review described a very disappointing experience with a takeout order intended to treat visiting family. The order for four people totaled a substantial $108.00, setting high expectations that were ultimately unmet. The reviewer noted several issues, starting with missing items such as the ordered hot house mustard, as well as a lack of standard condiments like soy sauce and duck sauce, without any guidance provided for first-time customers. This led to regret about leaving a generous tip.
Regarding the food itself, this reviewer found it largely "relatively tasteless." The hot and sour soup was criticized for lacking both heat and sourness, being described as devoid of any flavor. While the sweet and sour shrimp was deemed "decent" with good-sized and crispy-coated shrimp, the sweet and sour pork was a "different story" due to a severely undercooked, light, soft, and doughy batter. The pork egg rolls were considered "decent," but the reviewer missed the hot mustard with these and the shrimp. The pork egg Foo young was particularly unusual in appearance and flavor, with an unexpected sweetness from a dark, thin gravy that seemed more suited to another dish, making it not the savory expectation for this item. Ultimately, the beef and broccoli was not even attempted, and the lo mein was deemed unappetizing based on its appearance. The experience was compounded by the missing condiments and only two fortune cookies for a $108 order, leading the reviewer to label the entire dinner a "major fail from start to finish" and express relief that no leftovers were sent home.
Conversely, another recent reviewer had a very positive experience, stating that "the food is delicious" and the order was "accurate/nothing missing." They specifically praised several dishes, including the "delicious" spare ribs, the "tasty" Singapore noodles, the "yummy" orange beef, and the "very good" shrimp with eggplant with garlic sauce. The wonton soup was also noted as "good," and the prices were considered "fair." This highly satisfied customer indicated their intention to switch to House of Pang for future takeout orders. They also mentioned that while there are tables for eating in, it is "not a ‘dining’ atmosphere," and they found it "easy to order online."
These starkly contrasting reviews suggest a potential inconsistency in the quality of food preparation, order accuracy, and overall dining experience at House of Pang. While one customer experienced a litany of issues, including tasteless and poorly cooked food, missing items, and a lack of expected condiments, another found the food delicious, the order accurate, and the prices fair.
For local users in Boynton Beach considering House of Pang, it is essential to weigh these differing experiences. The positive review highlights several appealing dishes and the convenience of online ordering for takeout. The negative review, however, raises serious concerns about food quality, particularly the undercooked pork and the lack of flavor in multiple dishes, as well as issues with order accuracy and missing condiments.
The comment about the dine-in atmosphere not being a primary focus suggests that House of Pang may be better suited for takeout orders. The positive reviewer's mention of easy online ordering supports this. If you are primarily looking for takeout and are willing to try some of the highly recommended dishes like spare ribs, Singapore noodles, orange beef, or shrimp with eggplant with garlic sauce, House of Pang might be an option to consider.
However, given the negative experience detailing significant food quality problems and missing items, new customers might want to proceed with caution. Perhaps starting with a smaller order of the positively reviewed items could be a way to assess the current quality and accuracy. Inquiring about the inclusion of standard condiments when placing an order might also be advisable.
The information provided does not include details about any promotional offers or the full extent of their menu. Local users may want to check online ordering platforms or contact the restaurant directly to view their menu and inquire about any specials.
In conclusion, House of Pang in Boynton Beach presents a mixed bag of customer experiences. While some have found the food delicious and the service satisfactory, others have encountered significant problems with food quality, missing items, and a lack of attention to detail. Local users should consider these contrasting viewpoints and perhaps try a smaller order of recommended items initially to gauge their own experience with this Chinese restaurant.
If you decide to try House of Pang, be sure to check your order for accuracy and the inclusion of necessary condiments before leaving. Your own experience may fall in either of the extremes presented in these reviews, and providing your own feedback can help future local users make informed decisions.

Customer Reviews
Never again! We were treating family we were visiting to Chinese take out and as it turned out, their, and our, favorite place was closed that day. So, they picked another place they hadn't tried that was close and open. Our food was ready on arrival and for 4 of us it was $108.00. I was thinking, this better be good! Disappointment was in my future. First thing I noticed after getting the order unpacked was they forgot to include the hot house mustard we ordered. There was also no soy sauce or duck sauce with the order. If those things were self serve they weren't obvious and we received no direction being first time customers. I wish now I hadn't left the generous tip I did. The food was relatively tasteless. The hot and sour soup was neither hot or sour, it was devoid of any flavor at all. The sweet and sour shrimp was decent. Shrimp were a good size and coating crisp. Sweet and sout pork was a different story as the batter coating was severely undercooked, very light, soft and doughy. The pork egg rolls were decent, I didn't try the shrimp. I really missed the hot mustard on those three items. The pork egg Foo young was like no other I've ever had both in looks or flavor. Was that confetti? It was very...colorful! The Gravy was very dark brown, very thin and sweet! I got the feeling it was a sauce intended for something else. It wasn't bad, just not what you'd expect with this dish which is supposed to be savory, not sweet! At this point I didn't even want to try the beef and broccoli and none of us even touched the lo mein, it looked that good. Four adults, $108.00 worth of food (I use the term loosely), missing items and 2 whole fortune cookies! This dinner was a major fail from start to finish. We're so glad our family didn't try to send leftovers home with us!
The food is delicious and the order is accurate/nothing missing. The spare ribs are delicious and the Singapore noodles are tasty. The orange beef was yummy and the shrimp with eggplant with garlic sauce was very good, too! The wonton soup is good, too. The prices are fair as well. I’m making the switch to this place for our take out going forward! There are tables to eat in, but it’s not a “dining” atmosphere. Easy to order online, too.
I ordered two dishes from here. The chicken was very soft and rubbery and the flavor was good. can’t trust the chicken. We hope we don’t get food poisoning tonight. We are hoping it was just a bad selection of meat
We were very impressed by this little take out place. A little young dude was taking and filling orders like a Boss. Very impressive. Their food is Fresh, Tasty and in good size portions. Their Large size are really BIG in size, and they give you the white rice to match it. Their orange chicken is very flavorful. The Lo Mein was a bit underwhelming though. My mother put a bit of soy sauce on it and she said it helped. The pepper steak was great, steak was tender and peppers and onions were yummy. Tofu & veggies was good, but I think I prefer tofu a bit crispier. The sweet & sour chicken was perfectly fried and very crispy! The red sauce is soooooo good to dip it in! Veggie soup was very light and perfect for a light healthy meal. Their pork fried rice was great, nice taste, good amount of pork inside too. My favorite item was their veggie spring rolls, soooooooo crispy and the veggies inside were this perfect mix of cabbage and what ever the other veggies they make in the mix to stuff these. They are perfect. Too feed 7 people, 2 of which are kids, our bill was $99, so maybe a tad bit pricy, but what isn’t these days?! And not to mention we did have left overs. We were very impressed by the food, and we would def do take out here again!
Best take-out I've had in a long time. The mei fun was perfect! The soups are on point. The egg rolls are definitely fresh. It was a bonus to find out it's family operated.
