House of Lu

I've been looking for these kind of fried dumplings ever since I moved here and not only were they amazing, so was the rest of the food. It was the perfect temp to eat after a 20 min drive home and I really like that they saran wrapped the sauces just in case they tip over! Additionally, the man that was behind the bar when I was waiting for my food to finish up was so nice and I appreciated him chatting with me about my upcoming surgery, as I'm quite nervous and talking about it with others has been helpful. All around great experience and I can't wait to go back once I'm all healed

House of Lu on Marietta Square is a solid spot for lunch with a diverse menu that highlights fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes. We ordered the fried dumplings which were ok, not sure I would order them again, but the salt and pepper calamari is a must-try: it’s lightly crispy with just the right amount of spice and seasoning. Great service and ambiance make it a popular lunch choice. We also tried the Kung Pao chicken, which had a satisfying kick and fresh veggies that balanced the heat perfectly. With great flavors, attentive service, and a cozy ambiance, House of Lu makes for a great lunch destination.

Went out with my girls and it was a great experience! Service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant on a late evening. The food there was great, they had a good selection of food for us to choose from and enjoy

I ordered chicken Lo Mein with extra vegetables, extra sauce, and some heat. What arrived looked NOTHING like the picture! The portion size was total joke. The chicken spring roll was downright disgusting, and rubbery other than the outer shell. I'm not sure what happened to this restaurant, but it is nothing like it used to be. The portions used to be generous, the food was fresh, and you always received what you ordered. This was a pathetic joke of a meal. Not only were there hardly any pieces of chicken, but the only vegetable was carrot sticks and hardly any of those. Again, I ordered extra veggies based on the photo they provided. Not only was what I received not what was advertised, but I took two bites and it went into the trash. The Lo Mein noodles were complete mush, the sauce had a weird taste (I've brushed my teeth twice and it is still there), and the chicken was more like jerky that was cured by leaving it out in the sun for a week. I reported it to Uber Eats, but they said they couldn't help me. I then called my credit card company to dispute the charge, as I am not going to pay for the nastiest they let out of their kitchen.
