Had takeout from here the other day. Hadn’t been here in a while and didn’t realize that takeout might be all they do now. I also made sure to bring cash but they also seem to take cards now, although you need to pay a fee. Food was good. I got the egg foo young and chow mein, and it was a bit on the salty side. Also got beef and broccoli, orange chicken, egg rolls and cream cheese wantons. Orange chicken had large chunks of chicken that they placed in a bag. The sauce was on the side. I would probably order that again. The beef and broccoli was pretty standard. The egg rolls were great. We usually order from Chin Yuen in Monticello but glad I switched it up.
The food is fantastic. Have done pick-up 3 times and always fresh and warm. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners this time which was great. Shared some laughs. I live close and will keep coming back
I've been searching for a Chinese restaurant since I moved to Buffalo, and finally found the House of Lo!! The food is hands down amazing! Service is great, and the food is ready quick when picking it up!! Not sure about the vibe inside, I always pick up. I really, really wish they were open 7 days a week!!
Wife had the sesame chicken and it was awesome. Mother in law had chow mein and also loved it. I am eating the leftovers and it's awesome. For the people complaining that they don't put the sauces on their fried chicken....shut up thats lazy talk...the idea is you can reheat it back to crispy deliciousness. Also who wants soggy fried chicken?
We ordered 3 sesame chicken, 1 with white rice,2 with what was supposed to be chicken fried rice & chicken cheese wontons. Gross. First time I've ever ordered. The cream cheese wontons - didn't get any s&s sauce.. sesame chicken came in PAPER BAGS not in a container, sauce was in a Styrofoam cup, tiny box of chicken fried rice (1/2 cp) no chicken, no veggies!! Chicken was gross, big chunks with really thick dry batter. Unlike any Chinese I've ever had. We will never ever order again!! One star was generous
