About House of Hamada

House of Hamada is a Japanese restaurant located at 15410 94th Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462, USA. They can be contacted at (708) 364-9494 or mobile phone +1 708-364-9494. While listed under a Chinese Restaurant platform, House of Hamada specializes in Japanese cuisine, featuring both hibachi and sushi.

Customers consistently report amazing experiences at House of Hamada, particularly praising the entertaining and engaging nature of the hibachi chefs and waiters. The hibachi meals, such as shrimp, scallop, and lobster, as well as chicken and scallop, are described as plentiful and delicious. The plum wine is also highly recommended.

A notable feature of House of Hamada is the live cooking experience at the hibachi tables. Customers should be aware that seating at the hibachi is communal, meaning you will likely be seated next to other patrons. Upon entering the restaurant, a sign indicates that a 20% service fee is automatically applied to all orders. While one reviewer expressed a slight reservation about this automatic charge, they also acknowledged that it simplifies tipping.

In addition to hibachi, House of Hamada offers sushi, which has also received positive feedback. The staff is described as extremely friendly and providing great service, whether you are dining at the hibachi or ordering sushi. The presentation of the sushi, particularly when served in a wooden boat, is described as gorgeous.

House of Hamada is clearly a beloved local restaurant with a strong emphasis on both the quality of its food and the entertainment value of its hibachi service. The friendly staff and appealing presentation of the sushi further enhance the dining experience. While there is an automatic service fee, the overall positive reviews suggest that the food and service justify the cost. No specific promotional information was available in the provided reviews.

Amazing experience, our waiter and cook were entertaining and engaging. We ordered the hibachi. I got the shrimp, scallop, and lobster. My friend got the chicken and scallop. Both meals were plentiful and delicious. The plum wine was tops... upon entering, you are greeted with a sign that there is a 20% service fee on all orders. Also, if you don't want to sit next to strangers, then hibachi is not for you! The food is delicious and the service was outstanding! I don't like the automatic service charge, but again, I guess it saves you from calculating the tip yourself.

We've been here multiple times for the Hibachi (which we love), but this time we went to try the sushi. All of the staff were extremely friendly and provided great service. The presentation of the sushi in a wooden boat was gorgeous! Love this restaurant and will definitely be back.

The best chicken fried rice in the area. Not oily, cooked just right, the chicken is not overcooked, and it was ready on time! Normally I would dine in but this time my family and I decided to do take out. Great service as well whenever I’ve gone to dine in with my family!

We ordered our food to go. We both got the Samurai Choice(steak & chicken) chicken fried rice, appetizer noodle. The food was delicious. The steak and chicken was well seasoned. It's a little pricey but it was really good. I wish they had a hibachi lunch special.

Absolutely gorgeous exterior and interior. Koi pond in and outside, with waterfalls and a good-sized Buddah on your into the door. And have another Koi pond inside. They have the whole fun Habbachi room where the Chefs provide entertainment with their fancy spatula skills.Which is dinner and a show. Great for larger parties, and I'm sure children will love it. When we go there, we choose to sit on the bar side where there are tables and a large bar and is much more chill. The service has always been great,so very nice and polite, and always seem grateful. Bring cash for the tip! If you use a card, the tips are taxed and split amongst all the servers at the end of the week.( Cash is King, use it before we lose it). Food is priced fairly and is very delicious. We usually split a bowl of Chicken Fried Rice and a few appetizers. Vegetable Tempura, Egg Rolls. But there is something for everyone to enjoy. I definitely like this location in Orland over the one off 183rd in Tinley. Give it try if you are out that way and want a chill place to hang out and have a good meal
