House of Chong

So disappointed - just got ripped off at House of Chong so bad, we wanted to try a new place - my sweet and sour chicken (only a few pieces of chicken in my combo - mostly rice) is so over cooked it’s inedible - see photos. Rice is greasy and flavorless. I called to ask for a replacement or refund and they refused to help at all. Now I’m out dinner and the money. I’ve never experienced such poor service or food, ever.

Have tried so many dishes and never been disappointed. The cook deserves an award! The staff are gracious and helpful. The prices are right.

DO NOT ORDER! They didn’t give us a quart of pork fried rice that we ordered and paid for online. Told us that they weren’t going to give it to us though it was clearly listed on the receipt. They kept our money and didn’t fulfill our order. Have never dealt with a business that doesn’t take responsibility for their mistakes. We will NEVER order from them again. Worst experience.

We did take out. Food lacks flavor. Fried rice has weird taste. Egg roll dry and stuffed with frozen veggies. Won ton soup broth no flavor, won tons doughy and tasteless stuffing. This was our first time ordering with them, and definitely our last.

Super bummed to be leaving this review. We’ve been going to house of Chong for almost 10 years. In the last couple years we have become more and more disappointed. Tonight we waited double the amount of time they said it would take..(said it would be about 30 minutes and we waited almost 40 minutes past that). We got home and they forgot the crispy noodles and when we opened our beef with broccoli, there were literally 4 small pieces of beef and the rest just broccoli. For how much they charge..unacceptable. It’s a real shame because the food is really good. I think we are done going here.
