About House Of Beijing
House Of Beijing, located at 5917 NE St Johns Rd in Vancouver, WA 98661, is a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category. Serving the Vancouver area, they can be contacted at their phone number: (360) 695-2008 or their mobile phone: +1 360-695-2008. As a Chinese restaurant, House Of Beijing likely offers a menu featuring a variety of classic and perhaps regional Chinese dishes, providing options for both customers who prefer to dine at the location and those who opt for takeout services.
The available customer reviews present a somewhat varied perspective on House Of Beijing. One review highlights a significant issue with a specific order. The customer ordered vegetarian chow mein but reported receiving a dish that was composed of "98% bean sprouts, 2% broccoli" with "NO noodles." This indicates a significant error in the preparation of the dish, failing to include a primary ingredient (noodles) and being overwhelmingly comprised of less substantial components. The fact that the customer's husband did not check the order before bringing it home underscores the importance of order accuracy, especially for takeout. This negative experience could deter customers seeking specific dishes if quality control in order preparation is a concern. The same reviewer did note that "The spring rolls are OK," suggesting that at least one item on the menu was satisfactory.
In contrast, another reviewer offers a more positive overall experience. They acknowledge that the "Place could use some updating for sure," indicating that the restaurant's physical environment might be somewhat dated. However, they also noted that the restaurant "did look clean," which is a crucial aspect of any dining establishment. This reviewer had a very positive impression of the staff, describing them as "super nice." Furthermore, they found the food to be "great," leading them to state that they "can't complain about that." This suggests that despite potential aesthetic shortcomings, the quality of the food itself is a significant positive aspect for this customer. They also perceived that the staff "seem up really care about their food and customers," indicating a positive attitude and dedication to customer satisfaction. This reviewer mentions that this was not their first visit and confidently states, "It definitely won't be our last either," suggesting a level of satisfaction and loyalty. Additionally, they noted that the "Prices are good as well," indicating that the restaurant offers value for money.
Considering these two reviews, it's evident that while House Of Beijing might have some drawbacks in terms of its physical appearance, it seems to have strengths in its food quality, service, and pricing, at least according to one customer. However, the significant error in the vegetarian chow mein order reported by another customer raises concerns about consistency and attention to detail in food preparation. Potential customers might experience varying levels of satisfaction depending on the specific dishes ordered and their personal expectations regarding the restaurant's ambiance.
Regarding the environment of House Of Beijing, one reviewer explicitly mentions that the "Place could use some updating for sure," suggesting that the décor or facilities might be somewhat outdated. However, the fact that it "did look clean" is a positive aspect, indicating that hygiene is maintained despite any need for renovations. The overall ambiance for dine-in customers might be perceived differently based on individual preferences for restaurant aesthetics.
In terms of services, House Of Beijing offers both takeout and dine-in options, as implied by the reviews. The positive feedback about the staff being "super nice" suggests that the customer service is a strength, contributing to a positive dining experience for at least some patrons. The efficient preparation of takeout orders and the attentiveness of the staff for dine-in customers are likely part of their service offerings.
As for features, House Of Beijing offers a menu that includes standard Chinese dishes like chow mein and spring rolls. The positive reviewer's experience suggests that their main dishes are flavorful and of good quality. The "good prices" mentioned indicate that the restaurant might offer competitive pricing, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious diners. The caring attitude of the staff towards food and customers, as perceived by one reviewer, could also be considered a key feature of their service approach.
No specific promotional information, such as special deals, discounts, or featured menu items, is mentioned in the provided reviews. Local users interested in learning about any current promotions at House Of Beijing would need to contact them directly using the provided phone numbers or check if they have any online presence where such information might be shared.
In conclusion, House Of Beijing in Vancouver, WA, is a Chinese restaurant that appears to have both strengths and weaknesses based on recent customer feedback. While the restaurant might benefit from some updates to its physical environment, it is noted for its cleanliness, friendly and caring staff, and generally good food quality at reasonable prices. However, there is also a reported instance of a significant error in a specific dish order, which raises concerns about consistency. Local users considering House Of Beijing should weigh these factors and might find it beneficial to try a variety of dishes or inquire about order accuracy when placing their orders. The positive remarks about the service and food from one reviewer suggest a potentially satisfying experience, especially for those who prioritize these aspects over modern décor.

Ordered vegetarian chow mein and received 98% bean sprouts, 2% broccoli. NO noodles. My husband didn't check before bringing it home. The spring rolls are OK.
Place could use some updating for sure. However, it did look clean. The staff was super nice and the food was great so I can't complain about that. They seem up really care about their food and customers. This was not our first time in. It definitely won't be our last either. Prices are good as well.
Old school Chinese food! Just a warning, you get a ridiculous amount of food! We had the two-person family combination meal which came to under $45 and we had a massive plate of fried rice which was fantastic, sweet and sour chicken and cashew nut chicken. Both were tremendous. It also comes with appetizers which had we known how much food we were going to be getting for our entrees we would not have eaten so much in the appetizers. Appetizers were fantastic also as is the service. It was recommended for us and so I took my son and we went and we will definitely be back!!
I have been a loyal customer off and on for about 7 years. I actually stayed down the street from this place about 5 years ago at the sober living home and it was hands down my favorite place to go I have never had a bad experience there . Last night my wife and 3 kids wanted some good Chinese food and of course we came here food was great per usual of course the place could use some updating but I always figured that added character to these good places as long as they keep clean I could care less. Food came out quick hot ready and fresh. As we’re finishing up i started organizing the plates and mess that was made this is something I was raised to do at any restaurant we went to as a kid and is something i teach my kids . This outing was my wife’s treat after she paid the main lady whom usually at the cash register and serves food made a comment to my wife “I didn’t charge you tip” My first thought was she wasn’t wanting a tip mind you I believe in tipping for good service and it was pretty good but again I didn’t pay my wife did now my wife doesn’t usually tip. So the lady said again I didn’t charge for tip and that’s when I realized what she was getting to . She was asking for a tip since my wife didn’t with confusion and frustration I asked my wife ohh you didn’t tip . The lady then began to say “we work for tip you know “ my wife was handed her receipt to tip after rudely being asked for one . Now this rubbed me the wrong way I then went back in and said we’re are not obligated to tip . and that it wasn’t nice to ask for one she then began to explain to the best of her ability that it’s what they work for and I quickly said I’ve been coming here for 7 years I’ve always tipped weather it’s take out or dine in. and even so I think it was rude to peer pressure your customers with an attitude about a tip . This was at 7:51 9/16 right before they closed . and there was one other family there you would think that the one time you don’t tip it wouldn’t be a big deal but again I do believe if your able to go out and buy food you should be able to tip if the service good and the food is good which it was BUT you should never be asked for one like that. This will be my last time going there unfortunately i take pride in what restaurants do and i appreciate the work they do but never have I had this happen before . I’m sure she will remember me when she reads this Im 7 years sober with face tattoos and a big family thank you for the great food over the years . 粗魯地要小費是不禮貌的。
I always have the walnut shrimp dish and then the appetizer plate to share! Always fresh and delicious food! The servers are very sweet and attentive to all your needs. Good for family dinning!
