Customer reviews present varied experiences. One reviewer who tried the orange chicken, General Tso's chicken, and Mongolian beef found the orange chicken to be the best, noting its crispiness and tasty sauce. However, the other two dishes were described as "just OK" and a little soggy, though the sauce flavor was appreciated. This reviewer also found the fried rice to be dry and not recommended, despite the large portions. The chicken wings were also noted as not being crispy and lacking a lemon pepper flavor. While acknowledging the freshness of the food due to a short travel time, this customer felt the prices were "very pricey" and was hesitant about returning.
In contrast, another reviewer expressed strong satisfaction, stating they "absolutely love this Asian restaurant." They found the food to be "very fresh and tasty" and a "huge value" for their family. They particularly enjoyed the coconut curry with chicken and the Singapore fried rice, describing the latter as flavorful and not greasy. Subsequent orders of Singapore noodles, Thai Panang curry with chicken, hot coconut curry with beef, Thai spring rolls, and garlic dumplings were also reported as "very delicious." This reviewer considers Hot Wok their favorite takeout Asian food restaurant and praised its proximity to their home. An update mentioned the Vietnamese noodles as being "Delicious!"
Based on these reviews, Hot Wok Asian Cuisine Marietta appears to have both strengths and weaknesses. While some customers praise the freshness, flavor, and value of certain dishes like the coconut curry, Singapore fried rice, and Vietnamese noodles, others have found issues with sogginess, dryness, and pricing in dishes like the General Tso's chicken, Mongolian beef, fried rice, and chicken wings. Local users may want to consider these varying opinions when deciding to try Hot Wok.

Customer Reviews
I wanted to try out this place due to the reviews and it was just OK. It's hard to find good Chinese/Oriental food in the area, so we tried Hot Wok. We had the orange chicken, general Tso's chicken, and the Mongolian beef. The orange chicken was the best out of the 3, very crispy on the outside and the sauce was very tasty. The other 2 dishes were just OK as they were a little soggy, but the sauce is what saved them because of the flavor. I saw on Google that they were known for these 3 dishes so this is what we went with. We also had the fried rice (we were supposed to get 3 orders, but only got 2), but I didn't make a big fuss about it because I didn't realize until I got home. The rice was enough to feed an army, so portions I would say are good, but the fried rice was very dry and I would not recommend getting. Chicken wings we're not crispy as korean chicken wings normally are and they didn't taste like they used lemon pepper on them. Chicken was a little soggy as well. I only live 10 minutes from this establishment and I got my food fresh, so there should be no reason why the food should be soggy. Overall, I will probably try once more due to this experience, but if it's the same, I won't be back. It is very pricey too, so be prepared to spend some money especially if you're buying for your family. That's my honest review, so if I come back and have a different experience, I will update this review.
I absolutely love this Asian restaurant. The food here is very fresh and tasty, a huge value for my family. My husband first tried the coconut curry with chicken And Singapore fried rice, which was Absolutely delicious. In no way is this your typical fried rice as it isn't greasy, but very flavorful and a guilt free indulgence with all the fresh ingredients... So we explored more and ordered the Singapore noodles, Thai Panang curry with chicken, and Hot coconut curry with beef, Thai spring rolls, and garlic dumplings. All very delicious. We've found our favorite takeout Asian food restaurant and look forward to exploring the menu further! Luckily for us the location is very close to home! Update:Recently tried the Vietnamese noodles ( pictured) Delicious!
Mongolian beef I would say is a 7 out of 10. Food was not incredibly exciting however it hit the spot. The rice was cooked perfectly. Spicy garlic dumplings were loaded with spices but nothing exciting to the palate. It's not bad for some quick to go food. The guy at the front counter was very pleasant.
Hot Wok has been a mainstay in my family for years. We always look forward to a large takeout dinner about once a month, always well-prepared and never unsatisfactory. The Mongolian beef is great.
Ok so we were shopping in the Marietta area and I had a taste for Chinese food. Normally when it comes to Chinese food I stick to what I know(Iykyk)š.. and what I know is the Dragon 168 @ Richard D Sailors in Powder Springs⦠But like I stated we were shopping in Marietta and it was 5pm⦠traffic was normal 5pm ATL traffic so I got on google and found the best rated Chinese restaurants near me. That how we arrived at Hot Wok Asian Cuisine located at Due west rd Marietta. The menu had sooo much to choose from so we enlisted the help of a Customer that happened to frequent that location. He actually told me that he commutes there from Dallas and this was his āGo-toā favorite restaurant for Chinese food. With his advice in tow we order the spring rolls General Taoās chicken with lo mein and the Pepper & onion steak with fried rice. The spring rolls were fried too hard.. they have a spice chart from 0-20 so I got the General chicken at a 8. It was just ok⦠nothing special⦠the steak and onions lacked flavor and it was more peppers and onions than Steak. The rice was not fried but steamed rice with color. The lo mein was the same just plain thick noodles with no flavor. The ambiance was nice⦠the service was fast and the clerk was very pleasant .. but the food was not good at all!!! Iāll just stick to what I know!!!
