Hoshi Sushi

My go-to all you can eat sushi place! I bring my friends here often. The sashimi is amazing, flavorful, and fresh and there are many other great menu appetizers/sushi rolls like the salmon skin, miso soup, ice cream. and fried calamari. The service is a hit-or-miss and the last time I went there were several items we ordered that were not delivered so we had to reorder. Be prepared to wait ~20mins after each order. I’d definitely recommend this place however and to me, it’s well worth any wait. Just come with a good amount of time to eat.

I have been going here for over 15 years. This place never disappoints. I never get the all you can eat menu so I can not comment on that. But the rolls are always fresh. Place really needs an overhaul though it's getting kind of old and run down. I am sure their kitchen needs a huge deep clean too. Besides that I will always love this little sushi place. It's even better than the one in patchogue.

I don’t even want to write this review but I have to from how bad the food was. We waited approximately 40 minutes for our first all you can eat order to come. The waiter said it was because it was very busy (but there were quite a few empty tables) and that if you had ordered from the regular menu it would’ve been faster. Given the great reviews on here you’d expect their sashimi to be fine given that it’s JUST raw fish. Now I know yellowtail is supposed to be a little pink and I had to ask the waiter to confirm it was yellowtail but it was ENTIRELY pink. All the sashimi we had were small portioned and tasted foul/too fishy. They forgot our “kitchen” order of appetizers and at that point, we were just too disgusted with the sushi and left with our stomachs feeling uncomfortable. This is just a really disappointing review and I hope that your experience was better than mine.

Keeps me coming back for more every time. It takes a while for the food to arrive but it always tastes great and fresh and you're left feeling very full and very satisfied for the price. Can be a wait during the busy hours but I can see why, this place is a must if you live in the area. They do sometimes forget some of your apps but you always get all the sushi you ordered. Best ayce sushi place 💜

Great location, always clean, and excellent service. Also, I would like to say a special thank you for the fact that Hoshi Sushi became my first restaurant where I tried a new food for me - sushi. I have never eaten them before at all. It was probably more than ten years ago. Since then, this place has become one of my favorite restaurants. I have never been disappointed. Nice and friendly service, fresh food. I often order take-out food, I just call and pick it up in 20 minutes. But hopefully meeting friends again for lunch or dinner inside a restaurant soon like it was before COVID. One of my favorite salads is Salmon, avocado salad (tuna or salmon, avocado and seaweed with mayonnaise and tobiko crunch on top). By the way, green tea and ice cream are delicious too! Today my pick for lunch was: Avocado Salad, Rainbow Roll, Sushi Salmon Roll, Sharon Heart Roll. Everything was delicious!
