Hook & Reel never fails to satisfy our seafood boil cravings. We used to visit twice a month because the food is consistently fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. The atmosphere is always lively and welcoming, making it a great spot for family dinners or casual outings with friends. Their seafood is cooked to perfection, and the flavors are truly unbeatable. The Hook & Reel special sauce is the star of the show—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice and tang, it elevates every bite. Even though it’s harder to dine out as often these days, Hook & Reel remains one of our go-to spots whenever we’re craving an indulgent and satisfying seafood feast!

This most recent trip was the worst experience I have had at this restaurant. Tremaine was our server and he was friendly in the beginning, but that wore off soon after. I ordered one pound of king crab legs and a half pound of scallops. I received the photo attached. I had asked the chef/food busser if the crab legs were king crab legs and he had confirmed they were. I asked Tremaine if they were king crab legs and also if it was a pound of crab legs and was told a few different things such as they were pre portioned, legs can be different sizes, legs had to be broken in order to fit in the pot, etc. The 4 legs were received in pieces and not a cluster like I have received in the past. They were also very small and pre cracked. The meat was very stringy and tasted frozen. I have ordered king crab from here before and the meat was always very sweet, supple, and fresh. I felt like I received scraps from the bottom of the freezer. I paid market price of $59 for a pound of king crab legs. I was being watched as I was paying on the tablet. I did not tip on my card, and Tremaine gave us a very rude glare once I completed payment. He did not say anything to us or acknowledge us on the way out of the restaurant. I am so disappointed in this restaurant and how the quality has gone down. We will not be returning in the near future.

We finally gave this place a chance and we are absolutely hooked! Some of the best seafood. The sauces are so good, we can't wait to go back and try more!! Good drinks, super friendly and helpful service. Really great portions for such fair prices! If you like seafood you have got to check this place out!

We wanted to try something new for mother's day, so we saw this online and it had great reviews and wanted to try it. Off the back the restaurant environment in the core is beautiful. It has a very interesting n fun seafood atmosphere. The menu had plenty of seafood choices and a variety of ways to order them. Our food was really delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and everyone was satisfied. The drinks were delicious as well. We had two people serving our table, one took orders and did most of the beginning stuff and the other was there at the end. The person who took our order was very fast, if you didn't catch him you missed him. I get you want everyone to get their orders and things to run smoothly but don't forget the customers while they're there enjoying the restaurant. He ended up forgetting my dessert that I wanted to take home and enjoy later for mother's Day because he was too fast to listen to what I ordered and only provided the sauce without the pastry bites LOL. Other than that it was a wonderful experience and he was okay but would have been much better if he wasn't rushing by.

Wonderful experience!!! The seafood was fresh. The potions were adequate. The Special Blend added to the seafood boil was absolutely bold and flavorful! Kudos to the Special Blend. My only disappointment, mild disappointment, was the small sized Snow Crab Cluster. Overall, it's worth another visit!
