COCKROACH in my food. This was previously a favorite restaurant for my daughter and I. Until 12/18/24 when we had a cockroach that was fried while hiding in the crease of our crab Rangoon. We dined in for the all you can eat sushi lunch and when we got the appetizer, crab Rangoon, my daughter asked if that was a bug in the food. Naturally I automatically replied no but when I looked there was a fried cockroach clear as day on the crab Rangoon. I told the couple dining next to us and they looked and confirmed it was indeed a cockroach I was looking at. Obviously this ended our lunch. When I told the female server and showed her the roach she said “sorry about that”. My daughter and I left but I’m disgusted when I think of how many roaches must be running around for there to be one that somehow got fried in our food which is typically stored frozen prior to being cooked. It looked like it was “hiding” in the folded outside part of the Rangoon . I want to puke thinking about all the times we have previously eaten here. I intend to report this to the health department, but for now I will share the pictures as a warning to others.

My fiance wanted to order sushi tonight, but I opted for fried rice and chicken karaage instead. Unfortunately, what I received was CHICKEN NUGGETS. Look at them. There's no mistaking that those are chicken nuggets. They're even the same shapes as McDonalds nuggets--the circle, the bell, the boot...that one that's vaguely diamond/rhomboid-shaped. Seriously though, it's laughable and incredibly insulting that a restaurant thought that ultra-processed nuggets were an appropriate substitute for karaage--especially if they thought they could fool an East Asian person who knows full well what karaage is supposed to be. If they were going to knowingly send along nuggets, the least they could have done was make sure they were fresh. I was annoyed that it wasn't karaage, but I can still get down with some tasty nuggs. But NARP. The breading wasn't remotely crunchy, and it had that off, stale flavor that suggested it had sat in a musty back room for several hours. Did they run out of karaage and give me their leftover lunch in a panic instead? Because that's what it tasted like. If I had known this would be my experience, I would have just run out to the golden arches and gotten myself a proper 10-piece. Oh yeah, the fried rice was odd too. It didn't taste bad per se, but the flavor was more akin to pilaf. Just an extremely bizzare, disjointed, and altogether disappointing experience. If my fiance suggests ordering from here again we're going to fight about it. Not literally of course. But there will be a heated exchange of words.

First time here and everything was good no one really here it was kinda weird. Maybe people aren’t really dining out nowadays? The service was great and the food didn’t disappoint! Very happy I came here. Did I mention all you can eat sushi ? And leave some room for the green tea ice cream.

I ordered the King Roll off Uber eats from this restaurant. It wasn’t pleasant. I’m not even a picky eater and I tend to love sushi all around. From the grocery store, buffets, five star restaurants, you could usually never disappoint. However, this wasn’t very good. First, the presentation wasn’t appealing. It’s almost unrecognizable as a sushi roll. What made it gross was the crab with mayo sauce on top. It was a very thick layer. I don’t know anyone who eats that much mayonnaise. It was a lot of cream cheese as well and it wasn’t cold which is also a deterrent because no one likes warm cream cheese unless it’s melting on a bagel. It was a very thin layer of rice between it all as well. It just didn’t taste like Sushi should. Ot tasted like biting into a mayo donut. Not a lot of actual fish being eaten. The crab was very far from natural.

The best sushi from Schaumburg to Indiana, we do a lot of driving and stop at many places, but this place has the best sushi and kind staff. The only thing that would make this better is adding more of the vegetarian options like veggie deluxe roll and tofu skin nigiri to the all you can eat menu
