Based on customer feedback, HONG KONG RESTAURANT is known for its delicious and well-flavored food. One recurring positive comment highlights the House Special Lo mein and the sesame chicken as exceptional dishes. Customers have praised the House Special Lo mein for its perfectly cooked noodles, fresh and tender vegetables, flavorful meat, and a well-balanced amount of sauce. The sesame chicken is described as crispy, sweet, and perfectly seasoned, consistently satisfying those who order it. In fact, one frequent patron mentions visiting at least three times a week and consistently ordering these two dishes, noting their high quality and the overall excellence of the food, making it well worth trying.
Furthermore, this same reviewer also commends HONG KONG RESTAURANT for its very good customer service and pleasant environment. This suggests that in addition to the quality of the food, the dining experience is also a positive aspect for many customers, contributing to their repeated visits and satisfaction.
However, it is important to present a balanced view based on all available feedback. Another recent review from a regular customer expressed disappointment with their experience. This customer, who typically orders either the House Special Rice or the House Special Lo mein, noticed a gradual decrease in the amount of meat and shrimp in the "House Special" dishes over time. On their most recent visit, they ordered the House Special Fried Rice and found it to be predominantly rice with only a few pieces of meat. This led to the customer feeling that while prices might be increasing, the quality, specifically the quantity of premium ingredients, was declining. The reviewer felt that the dish they received did not justify the $25 price tag plus a $2 tip and stated that this would be their last time ordering from HONG KONG RESTAURANT.
Considering these two contrasting recent reviews, it appears that while HONG KONG RESTAURANT has garnered praise for the flavor and quality of certain dishes like the House Special Lo mein and sesame chicken, as well as for its customer service and environment, there may be inconsistencies in the preparation of other dishes, such as the House Special Fried Rice, particularly concerning the quantity of ingredients relative to the price. Regular customers might perceive changes in the composition of their favorite dishes over time.
As a Chinese Restaurant in Miami, HONG KONG RESTAURANT likely offers a wide array of other classic Chinese dishes in addition to the ones specifically mentioned in the reviews. Customers can probably expect to find various types of noodles, rice dishes, vegetable, poultry, beef, and seafood options on their menu. Given the positive feedback on specific items, it suggests a kitchen capable of producing well-executed and flavorful meals.
The reviews indicate that HONG KONG RESTAURANT caters to both dine-in and takeout customers. The positive mention of the environment suggests a comfortable setting for those who choose to eat at the restaurant. For those preferring to enjoy their meals at home, takeout is also a readily available option, as indicated by the customer who placed an order for pickup or delivery (though delivery is not explicitly mentioned, takeout is implied). It would be advisable to contact the restaurant directly to confirm if they offer delivery services to your location.
In conclusion, HONG KONG RESTAURANT in Miami has received positive feedback for the deliciousness and flavor of certain signature dishes like the House Special Lo mein and sesame chicken, as well as for its good customer service and environment. However, potential customers should also be aware of recent feedback indicating potential inconsistencies in the quantity of premium ingredients in some dishes, such as the House Special Fried Rice, which has led to disappointment for at least one long-time customer. We encourage local users to consider these varying experiences when making their dining decisions and perhaps try the highly recommended dishes to form their own opinion. For the most accurate information regarding their menu, services (dine-in, takeout, delivery), and any current promotions, please contact HONG KONG RESTAURANT directly at (305) 251-3039 or +1 305-251-3039.

I ordered House special Lo mein and sesame chicken it's very good delicious well flavored perfectly cook they always hit the spots everytime. The vegetables is fresh tender meat and just right amout of sauce. While the sesame chicken is crispy, sweet and perfectly seasoned. Evertimeni visit these two dishes never disappoint, they all food is very good and worth it to try. VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GOOD ENVIRONMENT .I ALWAYS VISIT AT LEAST 3 DAY A WEEK
Very disappointed! We're regular customer at this location. Our usual order is either House Special Rice or House Special Lo mein. Unfortunately, I noticed that little by little the "house Special" meats/ shrimp has decreased. Today we placed an ordered for the House Special Fried Rice, and that's what we got. If you're going to increase the prices, don't reduce the quality of the item. You literally served rice and a few pieces of meat... Call it a day $25 and the $2 tip. That's my last time.
So far this is the best Chinese restaurant I've found in the area. Lunch specials during the week that are affordable and well portioned. Great service and friendly staff. Definitely worth stopping by for any craving.
This is a take out and delivery place. Do not come here expecting to have a nice sit down dinner. No chance of that but the food has always been good and fresh and reasonably priced. That is why I have been picking up dinner here for years.
I wanted this to hopefully be different from all the other “copy and paste” Chinese restaurants, but sadly I was disappointed. Fried Wonton (12 piece) For 12 fried wontons, $5.50 is a pretty good price, but they were really greasy and had me feeling pretty bad after eating them. The first couple were good, once you go past that, you start realizing what you’re eating, feeling the grease, and feeling bad. I was spitting yellow for the rest of the day after eating these wontons, but the price is decent. Chicken w. Broccoli + White Rice I’ll start off with the best part, the rice. The rice was solid, nice texture, decent amount, satisfying. Now, to the main part of the meal. The Chicken + Broccoli was proportioned well, good even balanced amount of both, but in the end, it was too salty and tasted like basically every other Chicken and Broccoli you will ever have. The sauce was just pure watery soy sauce thrown in there making it all even saltier, it’s just a lack of effort to be different, to be better, and show some quality and interest in what they are serving. The price was $11.50, so I definitely wouldn’t spend the money for this again. When I look at the whole meal together, it’s just not worth it, it was no different than any other Chinese restaurant, same interior, menu, setup, and unfortunately subpar quality. I really don’t understand why there is no unique Chinese restaurant, all of them are this same mediocre cookie cutter, uninspired malarkey. Hopefully I’ll find a good or at least different one some day.
