Based on recent customer reviews, experiences with Hong Kong Kitchen appear to be mixed. One customer reported a significant issue with the spring rolls, describing them as excessively greasy, soaking through multiple napkins and spilling oil. They also mentioned the taste being overwhelmingly of grease and causing illness. This customer also noted that the rice was acceptable but expressed dissatisfaction with the overall cost for the items ordered and an additional charge for using a card.
In contrast, another customer had a positive experience regarding the service, stating that their order was "fast and accurate," suggesting efficiency in their order fulfillment process.
However, another review highlighted a disappointment with the vegetable Lo Mein, noting that it consisted primarily of noodles with a very sparse amount of vegetables, including a few shredded carrots, a small piece of broccoli, and three tiny pieces of mini-corn. This lack of vegetables led to the dish being described as bland and resulted in a low rating from this customer.
One customer found the steamed dumplings to be "as expected," indicating a neutral experience with this particular dish.
In summary, while Hong Kong Kitchen offers meal delivery and takeout services in Buffalo, NY, recent customer feedback presents a varied picture. There are concerns regarding the quality and preparation of certain items, specifically the excessive greasiness of the spring rolls and the lack of vegetables in the vegetable Lo Mein. On the other hand, some aspects of their service, such as speed and accuracy, have been noted positively. The steamed dumplings appear to meet expectations. Potential customers may want to consider these recent experiences when placing an order.

Customer Reviews
The $4 spring rolls filled three full napkins completely in grease- literally soaked them all! My mom bit into hers and it literally spilled all over her lap. Tasted like straight grease and made me sick. Rice was ok but $20 for rice and spring rolls plus another $1 just to use a card… definitely will go elsewhere.
It was fast and accurate. The vegetable Lo Mein was entirely noodles with a few shredded carrots on top, a dime-sized piece of broccoli and three tiny pieces of mini-corn. I was expecting there to be more vegetables, which is probably why it was a bit bland. This is why I’m rating low. The steamed dumplings were as expected.
After indulging in Chinese cuisine across Shanghai, Taiwan, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur, I consider myself to have a rather discerning palate when it comes to authentic flavors. It's with this background that I wholeheartedly recommend this gem in Elmwood Village for truly exceptional Chinese food. The Kung Pao Chicken here is a standout dish, generously laden with fresh vegetables and served alongside perfectly cooked white rice, capturing the essence of what makes Chinese cuisine so delightful. This establishment primarily caters to take-out, but if you're like me and prefer to savor your meal straight from the kitchen, they offer two tables for dining (but realize there's not atmosphere whatsoever).
The food is great. I always get the sesame seed chicken with chicken fried rice and an order of chicken wings (can you tell I like chicken?). The lady that sits at the front and takes orders is very sweet and friendly. She said my face is handsome :) Only bad thing I have to say is that the lobby could use a little remodeling, you can tell the place has been around as soon as you step in it. Other wise, great for lunch and dinner if you’re feeling too lazy to cook.
We order takeout from here all the time. They are always on point with flavor of each item we purchase. The portions are always perfect. If they say 10 min they breathy mean it will be done in 10 minutes or sooner. Very friendly workers. They always greet you with a smile
